Great location

Fourteen acres to roam, spread out your wings, and regain some inner peace. Celebrate love and life in an intimate setting just for two. Sleep next to an old-growth cedar climbing inside two floors and enjoy the verdant views from the loft in the double-sized bed. A private half bath is below the treehouse and the shower house located near the parking area is open when temps are above freezing. Close to restaurants and nature attractions, we are a convenient hub for the Olympics and Mt. Rainer.

The space
This treehouse is nestled in the back woods of our property. Limited views through the trees of the main house can be seen from a distance. We do reside on site and are available to assist guests whenever needed.

This is an adult only, non-smoking, no-pet rental, with a maximum of two adult guests. The treehouse is approximately 195 sq. ft. with additional spaces for cooking and dining. There is a weight limit of 220 lbs on the ladder that leads to the sleeping loft. The maximum height inside the sleeping loft is 5'9" at its highest point.

This unique treehouse is a great getaway for nature lovers or those looking to do social distancing in style. There are many walkways through Douglas firs, cedars, hemlocks and rhododendrons as well as back wood paths that meander though grand firs and old growth of a few hundred years. In the spring, a ceremony of frogs lull you to sleep, summer months bring cool nights out on the wrap around deck. Autumn leaves from maples measure as wide as 18" and winter brings sometimes a rare, magical snowfall.

This is a unique experience and nothing like anything else. On windy nights, you will feel the treehouse sway. Everyday amenities are a little different--even the walk to the treehouse itself is a little journey. The treehouse half bathroom was built around the base of a large cedar and is just at the foot of the treehouse with a composting toilet and sink with hot water. Near the parking area, you will find our new beautiful outdoor cedar shower house, which has skylights to showcase the trees above it and is available when temperatures are above freezing. The shower house is a shared facility with our camping guests. We have designated specific hours for each group of guests so we may sanitize in between shifts. Tree house shower hours are from 9-5 pm daily, unless there are no camping guests at the time, making it available 24/hours daily.

Your stay includes a private fire pit with two bundles of pre-cut wood from Oct 1- June 30th. Fire bans are yearly from July 1-Sept 30th. TV in the sleeping loft with Amazon Fire Stick and an electric fireplace to keep you toasty warm. Upstairs you’ll find Alexa so you can stream your own music or use Apple Music. Just say, “Alexa! Play —— ” or ask her "Alexa, what is the weather today?"

On the deck and in the outdoor food prep area are two large coolers to keep your food and beverages fresh. There is a double sink with hot water, a filtered water spigot, and propane grill. We do supply basic cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses, wine opener, coffee, and condiments.

We do host small weddings and special events on occasion, so please inquire for details to set up a preview appt.
