When you arrive at Thornhill Farm you will feel complete peace and calmness. You’ll enjoy 55 acres of sweeping private farm fields and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. It’s close to Hendersonville and Asheville where you can experience all the history, hiking, breweries/wineries, coffee shops, and other activities the area offers. The space
Welcome to the cozy farmhouse nestled within a nature and wildlife oasis – on the property you can enjoy grilling, fishing, hiking, a fire pit, wildlife watching (birds, turkeys, deer), front porch coffee/wine, playing pool, and yoga. Not to mention, unbelievable sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing. It’s easy to spend all day relaxing here despite all the accessible adventures in the surrounding areas. This 4-bedroom farmhouse sleeps 8 - 10 comfortably. On the first floor, there is a living room, game room, dining room, full kitchen, several workspaces, en-suite master bedroom and bathroom, twin bedroom, and guest bathroom. Upstairs there is an en-suite twin bedroom and bath and an additional double bedroom. Outside there is a fishing pond, fire pit, grilling area, back patio, wrap-around front porch with rocking chairs, outdoor dining area, and mountain and barn views with endless acres to roam! Your visit allows us to invest back into our farm – all bathrooms were renovated in 2022 and the kitchen was renovated in 2023!

Guest access
The farmhouse is at the end of the gravel driveway roundabout. Park anywhere along the gravel drive. Guest have access to the main farmhouse, amenities, and surrounding landscapes except for the barns (safety reasons) and the smaller home at the top of the driveway (used for storage + occasional caretaker). There is a lockbox on the front door and the code will be provided upon check-in. Please keep the keys in the lockbox as you come and go.
Other things to note
Safety: Do not enter the barns for safety reasons (the structures aren’t stable). There is no hunting allowed on our property. You may encounter typical NC snakes, so hike at your own risk.
Pets: We allow dogs on a case-by-case basis depending on the breed, size, and shedding potential. They must be crated or locked up when guests aren’t home. Furniture is off-limits. Guests must clean up after their dogs in the yard.
Weddings & events: We offer entire wedding packages with everything included, depending on your budget. You can also hire external vendors yourself and just rent the farm. If interested, please reach out to the host for more information or visit "Thornhill Farm Weddings."
