The space
Salento guesthouse suite Donna Irene is a very spacious studio(55 sqm) with a courtyard (shared with the adjacent apartment) that is located in the heart of the ancient village of Carpignano Salentino a few kilometers from Otranto. Our residence is located in a Renaissance palace built by the owner's family in 1500.
The apartment is equipped with a large kitchenette and private bathroom. The barrel vaulted interiors and vintage style decor will transport you back in time. The house has been recently refurbished and converted into an accommodation structure. Salento guesthouse residence is located in a strategic position in the historic center of Carpignano Salentino (heart of Salento Greece) a short distance from the most beautiful sea of Salento, Lecce, Otranto and the main roads to easily reach Leuca, Gallipoli and Porto Cesario.
Parking for the car is a few meters from the property and is public, safe and free.

Carpignano Salentino is located in the heart of Salento region, only 10km from Otranto, 20 km from Lecce and only 8 km from the most beautiful beaches in Salento. You will reach Gallipoli in 35 mniutes, Leuca in less than an hour away.
The house is located near the Mother Church therefore on sunday morning and during religious festivity there is the sound/noise of the bell tower.
