Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.

Mountain view

Soak up the view during your stay.
We're two blocks from Main Street and it's just a few blocks more to the local theater, art and culture, a variety of excellent restaurants, and walking trails. You’ll love my place because we're so close to town, but not on a main through street, so it's quiet here. My place is good for couples, or a group of friends, solo adventurers, traveling professionals, and for a great get-away.

The space
The apt has a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee bean grinder and all, if you want to bring, or to buy your own food. if you need other appliances, just ask.
Apple TV is hooked up to flat screen TV, good WiFi.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us. Thank you for your interest!

Guest access
Full access to entire apartment, private kitchen, living room, bath, and both bedrooms; there are a few closets, outside of the BRs, that are used for our purposes and are locked. The entry to the apt has a separate locked door from the entry door to the lower hall and the washer and dryer in the lower entry hall may be used by us and other guests.
All of us share the enjoyment of the terrace and gardens.
Front porch is most accessible to your apartment, but all use it to get to mail.
There is one parking space available, a 2nd space is negotiable.

Other things to note
An indoor cat lives in owners' apartment.

Neighborhood highlights

Town is just a few blocks long and it starts about 2 blocks from here. The best coffee is at Mocha Joe's; they roast their own.

There is a Food Co-op 6 blocks away, open to all, that has local, organic and all around great stuff. It is right by the Latchis movie theater.

There are quite a few restaurants, in this small area. There's a bagel place in the center of town, also a small cafe called Bakery Arts, which has wonderful fresh breads and good lunches. Dinner restaurants are from the high end, Tine, to a small fish and chips place, all within a few blocks of each other and 4-5 blocks from here.

There are locally owned used/consignment/antique furniture stores. There are several clothing stores, including a new and used clothing store that caters to the more hip and youthful minded dressers.

Downtown has fine jewelry stores, Vermont Artisans which carries fine art from local artists, crafters, potters, and other art galleries with more eclectic, international artwork, a couple of high end, and ethnic, home furnishings stores.

We also boast a couple of vinyl, and other music media stores, eclectic and used bookstores. There are several quirky boutiques, an ice cream parlor, I think a few tattoo parlors and other interesting oddities.

There are small shopping areas to the north, the south and west of town. Larger shopping centers are about a half hour to an hour from here.

A mother of a grown daughter, semi retired, and involved in local community non profits. I love nature, especially birds! I have traveled extensively, and have particular fondness for Costa Rica, India, Japan, and Australia. Antarctica was pretty cool too! I live in the house with these apartments, so am usually available for any any help or suggestions.
