Spacious, clean, classy, private studio between Woodstock and Kingston- rural environment on 9 acres, decorated with my art. My location is central to everything! As an artist, I value beautiful environments.
Being a traveler, I know the value of returning home to a space that is beautiful and homey. I enjoy sharing this experience with my guests. I've stocked it with reading material, Roku TV, great queen bed, microwave, fridge, coffee-maker. Extra single mattress available upon request.

The space
As an artist, I value beautiful living environments. Spacious, clean, private space in between Woodstock and Kingston, in a rural environment on 9 acres. I've decorated with my own works of art to relax and inspire you.
As a traveler and explorer, I appreciate being able to return home to a house that is beautiful, relaxed and has a homey vibe, and I enjoy sharing this experience with my guests. I've stocked it with some reading material, cable TV, a good queen bed, microwave, fridge, coffee-maker, but no real kitchen set-up. There is a single mattress available if you do not want to share a bed. You will need to give me notice in order for me to provide linen for the stored mattress.

Skylights offer wonderful light and stars at night.
A perfect artist or writers retreat

We are walking distance to the Ashokan Resevoir and driving distance to the many hiking trails and lakes this region has to offer. Wander out back to my meadow with a stone circle and magical forest.

A cat lives in the main house but does not come into the airbnb.

•Simple breakfast available upon request. This includes coffee, tea, granola or cereal, milk,

Guest access
The apartment is in a separate building from the house. You have your own private entrance outside and upstairs.

Other things to note
There are some great dining choices within 2 - 5 minutes drive if you don't feel like going into Woodstock or Kingston.

Location

Hurley, New York, United States

We are conveniently located right in between Woodstock and Kingston in a somewhat rural area. Rhinebeck and New Paltz are both 25 minute drives away. Our location makes this place a plus.

There are many restaurants in Woodstock and Kingston, too numerous to list but that being said- in Woodstock if you want to spend a bit Red Onion, Cucina and The Bear are always great choices. The Garden Cafe in Woodstock is healthy and good vegan food. In Kingston I happen to like Boitsons in Uptown Kingston as well as Le Canard (French but a bit pricey). The Hoffman House in Kingston is an old staple, decent food reasonable price and quaint atmosphere. If you want to stay within a 5 minute or less drive from here you can go to the Resevoir Inn or Hickory BBQ, both decent. For close-by take out (or informal sit down) there is Blue Mountain Bistro to Go. For brunch, Oriole 9 in Woodstock is good and if you feel like a drive up into the mountains go to Phoenicia-a a great little town to visit about 25 minutes up route 28.
