This is the smaller of 2 upstairs bedrooms listed as "Sunny Second Floor w/Outdoor Hot Tub"
There's a half bath that would be shared with any guests in the larger room.
All the details about the neighborhood etc can be found in my other listings.
The Sweet Suite has a twin bed, a small dresser, desk and chair.
It's bright and sunny and cozy.
The spacious upstairs half bath is shared, and everyone shares the shower on the first floor, so we try to keep showers short.
All guests have access to the living room, kitchen, eating areas, and yard-complete with outdoor dining table (in warm weather), fire pit, and gorgeous 6 person Hot Tub (year round).
Interaction with Guests
I love to converse and hang out with guests when I have time. It's fun to learn about different parts of the country and the world and to hear about other people's lives! I'm also happy to leave you to your own devices if that's what you prefer.
The neighborhood is safe, diverse, friendly, and loaded with amenities within walking distance. There's a Starbucks (essential in my book) 2 blocks away, along with Chipotle, Panera, Bob Evans, a more local great breakfast place, Whole Foods (also essential), Target, Macy's and tons of other shopping and food places.
The RTA bus stop is at the corner, and getting to the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, or Downtown is very easy. Hopkins International (CLE) airport is 35 minute drive or a 45 trip by train & bus.
My guests have been very pleased with the convenience of the area.
Colleen and Jim were very welcoming.
Accommodations were as described; room was basic but had all necessities. A little chilly in the winter, but Colleen provided a space heater and it was comfortable.
Neighborhood felt very safe.
About 20 minutes to Case Western / Cleveland Clinic in the morning before 8am with traffic.
I arrived the 31 of December at 10.30 pm. Colleen and Jim awaited me and celebrated New Years Eve with me as if I were an old friend passing by, they really did everything to make me feel at home.
The house is situated in an lovely and quiet neighborhood. Everything you can think of is at walking distance. Macy’s, Target, Wholefood, TJ Maxx, Homestore, Wallgreen, Arby’s, Burger King, McDonalds, Five Guys, Boston Market, Panera Bread, Domino and small local shops. I liked Zeppe’s Pizzeria a lot.
Bus Transport is nearby too.
Colleen and Jim are to exeptional hosts. I came as stranger and left as friend. I will recommend them whole hearted to everyone. An experience not to miss. American hospitality at it’s best. Thank you both for the great experience. I will be back.
Colleen was very welcoming. I was pleased with the accommodations and the neighborhood felt safe.
Colleen and Jim are both really nice people to stay with and really good house in beautiful neighborhood. Its really good and cheap for those are going to do a rotation at cleveland clinic or university hospital (30 min in bus and 15-20 min if you have ur car)
Colleen was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The house definitely felt like a home; I had my privacy when I wanted it and could be social as desired. Colleen always made sure that whatever might be needed, be it towels or a hole puncher, you got it. The house is very comfortable and the neighborhood is very peaceful. You are very close to groceries, target and take out options and downtown is a quick car ride away. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for a great experience Colleen.
This is just a basic room at a very economical price. All I wanted was a bed, bathroom and shower for one short night and this worked perfectly. Only eight miles to baseball stadium and a very easy drive to get there. Several good restaurants nearby. Communication with Colleen was excellent. Parking has some community restrictions so make sure you discuss them with Colleen. I would definitely use them again when I'm traveling solo.
Colleen was a lifesaver for me. My aunt was stranded in East Cleveland without a room. Colleen was willing to help us with very little notice. My aunt and I were so happy to have a safe place for her to stay. This was my first experience using Airbnb and if everyone is like Colleen, I am looking forward to meeting more of you.

Yoga teacher, dance instructor and drug abuse prevention specialist, I'm friendly, compassionate, and considerate. I love meeting a wide variety of people and learning new things. My home is generally a quiet, serene environment that nourishes and rejuvenates me.
I also work at Starbucks part time, so freshly brewed dark roasted coffee is one of the perks of staying with me. I can't live without love, chocolate, good books, a project to be working on, or seafood.
As a host, I love to hang out and converse with my guests if I'm not working. And I'm happy to leave you to your own devices if that's what you prefer. Breakfast is self-serve: I'll have bagels, cream cheese, eggs, juice, fruit, milk and coffee and tea in the kitchen that you are welcome to enjoy, and if I'm cooking in the evening, you'll always be invited to join me. I love Cleveland, and enjoy introducing guests to some of its wonders-either through a driving tour or a personalized map of attractions they may enjoy.
I live by the platinum rule- 'treat others the way THEY want to be treated.' Live and let live. Be kind. Happy travels!
