Historic house. Nestles in the Fintry Hills, amazing views, quiet, private, river and waterfall set in 10 acres. Cosy room for 4 people with double bed and double sofa bed. SECOND ROOM AVAILABLE PLEASE ENQUIRE (total 4 guests in two rooms). Gaze at the stars whilst lying in bed! Exclusive use of bathroom, (no walk in shower). Sitting/dining area, tea, coffee, toaster, fridge, microwave. Breakfast provided. Nr. Loch Lomond, Trossachs National Park, Finnich Glen, Stirling, Edinburgh.

Bedroom which accommodates up to 4 people, one double bed and one double sofa bed.

We have a second bedroom for an additional charge. Please enquire if interested (total of 4 guests in 2 bedrooms).

Separate sitting/dining room where we serve breakfast. Exclusive use of bathroom right next to bedroom (no walk in shower).

If staying more than 3 nights then use of washing machine available. Kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, toaster, microwave, plates etc. for your own use.

10 Acres of garden, a waterfall you can bathe in, a great place for adults and children! Make friends with our 2 labrador dogs, chickens and guinea fowl!

You will have access through our main front door, hallway, stairs, private bathroom next to your bedroom and also the 'reading room' for relaxing and dining. Access to our gardens of 10 acres which have mature plantings of mixed woodland, rhododendrons, azalea's, carpets of daffodils, and bluebells. Ponds, river, waterfall and terraced gardens. Amazing views to the Campsie Fells.

Breakfast included between 8.00a.m. and 9.00a.m. For early starters a continental breakfast is provided.
Ceiling height of bedroom is 6ft. All other areas have high ceilings.
Please note there is no walk in shower, it is a bath with a shower attachment for use within the bath.
We will send detailed driving directions once booked - please read - 99% of guests do but satnav hasnt quite caught up!

Neighborhood highlights

Fintry is a village of approx. 250 households. Camallt is approx. 2 miles from the village centre. There are great walks by the river and in the hills. It is quiet and unspoilt with beautiful views in every direction. The Sports Centre has a bar and also serves good food all day. The Courtyard Cafe is good for light lunches and teas. The Cross Keys at Kippen is good for evening meals as is the The Mill at Killearn (both 8 miles). Balfron (8 miles) has an Indian restaurant and takeaway and also a Fish and Chip shop. Balfron also provides our closest chemist, doctor, post office and Co-op.
