Haigha House gives families room to slow down together, with a private playground, tropical garden, and two friendly free-roaming rabbits to delight little guests. A complimentary baby cot and high chair are available on request, while baby safety gear and toy rentals can be arranged before arrival so everyone settles in with ease. Recognized among the Best Villas to Book in Bali by Condé Nast Traveller and featured on Airbnb’s official IG, it’s a stay designed for memorable family time.

The space
~~ Perfect for Group Travel ~~
Designed for families and groups, Haigha House offers three generous bedrooms that bring everyone together while still leaving room to retreat.

The master suite occupies its own peaceful wing, where a super king King Koil bed, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom with a vintage copper bathtub create a calm place to begin and end each day. Beyond the room, a private balcony opens to uninterrupted views of Bali's volcanoes rising above the rice fields.

Across the villa, two private bedrooms share their own wing, opening onto a long timber deck overlooking the jungle and pool. One features a super king bed, the other a queen, both filled with natural light and cooled by air conditioning. A spacious shared bathroom, with separate shower and toilet, offers comfort and practicality for families or friends travelling together.

For larger groups, one additional extra bed can be arranged for an additional charge, allowing Haigha House to comfortably accommodate up to seven guests.

~~Fully-fitted Kitchen~~
Haigha House features a stunning, social kitchen with two oversized islands—ideal for guests who love to cook. With expansive counter space and an open view of the tropical jungle, it’s a dream setup for home cooks. Make your stay even more memorable by preparing your favorite meals and enjoying them with loved ones at our rustic dining table crafted from repurposed wood.

~~Chic, Secluded, and Private~~
Unlike most “private” villas in Ubud that sit within a shared compound, this loft stands on its own 1,250m² private estate—exclusively yours to enjoy. It’s beautifully surrounded by expansive rice fields, tropical jungle, and a gentle river.

~~Located in a tranquil part of Ubud~~
If you're looking to avoid Ubud's overcrowded, noisy, buses-infested, and touristy downtown, then this place is just right.

Situated just 5 km south of the well-known Monkey Forest Sanctuary in central Ubud, the villa rests in a peaceful village far from the crowds. Surrounded by rice fields, a small river, coconut palms, and views of three volcanoes, you’ll be fully immersed in nature. The soundtrack here is crickets, tiny frogs, birds—and occasionally the village dogs. On clear nights, the poolside deck becomes a beautiful spot for stargazing, with fireflies sometimes making a gentle appearance.

~~Open Plan Living~~
The villa features a soaring 6-meter ceiling, an open, fluid layout, and a minimalist yet inviting design. With its blend of steel, concrete, glass, and rich wooden accents, it stands in stylish contrast to the classic Indonesian Joglo. If you love loft-inspired architecture with a touch of Indonesian character, this space will feel just right for you.

~~Gorgeous Jungle Pool~~
Framed by rice terraces and the surrounding jungle, the infinity pool is a place to settle into the rhythm of the day. Mornings begin quietly with the soft sounds of nature, while long afternoons invite an unhurried swim, a moment beneath the sun, or simply time spent by the water. Extending from the pool, the spacious wooden deck offers a peaceful setting for yoga, meditation, or quiet reflection, immersed in the beauty of the landscape.

The lounge is centred around an oversized sofa designed for slow, comfortable living, accompanied by a thoughtfully curated selection of books for quiet moments throughout your stay. A private home-spa space is also available, complete with a professional massage table and access to on-call therapists upon request. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to help you fully relax, recharge, and unwind at your own pace.

Other things to note
RICE FIELDS CHANGE COLOURS
Our loft is surrounded by rice field, and framed by the river and jungle. We're also tucked and hidden in a small Balinese village, away from the tourist quarters of Ubud. Here's a few important things that you will need to know about the area:

The rice paddy is alive and breathing. It goes through different cycles where the landscape around you will change colours depending on the season.

At the early stage of its cycle, the landscape will be filled of muddy earth and you will see farmers ploughing the fields, often hemmed by dozens of white herons flying around.

Once all the land has been ploughed, paddy is planted, and water is streamed to the field. This is when the loft will look like it's surrounded by body of water.

Then the paddy starts to grow, and with its growth, come different colours. At the early stage of its growth, you will see bright green, then as it matures, the landscape will turn to golden, and then eventually dark brown.

The whole cycle usually lasts 3-4 months. So when you're staying at our loft, the view that you will see from your suite will change depending on the season.

SMOKE & FIRE
Following the harvest, the farmers clear the fields to prepare them for a new cycle. This is when the straws were burnt, and the smoke rises. The burning usually lasts for 2-3 hours and depending on where the wind may blow, this might cause inconvenience for the dwellers of our loft. This is however, a part of the reality in living so close to the nature, and we have prepared a blower in our loft in the case of our guests would like to use it to keep the smoke away.

INSECTS AND THEIR ALLIES
Living so close to the nature, we do have living creatures crisscrossing our paths every once so often. In the dawn you will see hundreds of dragonflies, but at night you might also encounter some geckos. You will also hear crickets (or see different types of insects), and sometimes fireflies are also spotted around. There's not a lot of mosquito here, but it's always good to keep mozzy repellent handy, you never know!

AIR CONDITIONING
Please note that while all the bedrooms in the villa are equipped with air conditioning units, the main areas, such as the living room, dining room, and kitchen, are designed with an open-plan, expansive layout and high ceilings. Due to the architectural design, these areas are not air-conditioned; instead, we have plenty of fans strategically placed in different spots. We also provide extra fans upon request to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
