Hello! Our home is an 1890 Victorian mansion that we purchased in 2016 and lovingly renovated over three years using a team of local craftspeople and myself. This space is a quirky 1 bedroom, 1 bath garden level loft with much of its original character preserved. Located in the heart of Midtown just one block from 15+ bars and restaurants, DMC, Shinola and way more. The space is designed with leisure stays in mind but also capable of accommodating business travelers comfortably. Parking included

The space
The space features a custom cherry old-growth wood bar along with handbuilt cherry countertops. The bathroom has its own interesting character equipped with the biggest shower I've ever installed as a builder. The apartment is stocked with coffee, has an Apple TV and ultra high-speed fiber WiFi and a new but vintage dart board. The space is equipped with a modern heating system and cooling. It’s very comfortable year round.

Guest access
You’ll receive an access code which you’ll use on the Schlage key pad located on the door to get in. This is unit #5 and accessed from the rear of the building down the stone steps. The code will operate the turn knob on the lock and the door can be locked by putting that same code in and turning the knob on the key pad. A dedicated parking space is included with your rental. Parking is in the rear of the building in a space labeled #5. Please only park one car per unit; there is plentiful street parking on Forest Ave. or Prentis for additional vehicles. Park on an angle so that the other vehicles fit in the lot!

Other things to note
If you’d like to prepare food during your stay, Marcus Market is very close and there is also a Whole Foods a little beyond that.

Comerica Park is located approximately 1.5 miles away. It’s a safe walk down Woodward Avenue or a very quick Uber/Lyft.
