The Little Beach House is a characterful wooden cottage located right in the heart of Sennen Cove in Cornwall, the cove beach is directly opposite and the main surfing beach just over the road. Sennen also has a gallery, surf shop, surf schools, great restaurants and a great pub.

The space
The Little Beach House is our very own perfect little beach get-a-way in Sennen, but we can't stay there all the time so we are happy to offer it to others so that they can enjoy it too.

The house has an amazing relaxing feel, we extensively renovated it ourselves uncovering and reclaiming original features long covered such as the wooden floors and wall panelling, the result is a house that is airy and light and utterly soul refreshing.

We fill the shelves with books, there is a great selection of board games to play and most definitely keep a close watch out the window for dolphins, seals, basking sharks, whales are occasionally spotted too, and of course there are the stunning white sand beaches and the cliffs to walk upon straight out the door.

Guest access
The Little Beach House is a holiday cottage and you will be renting the entire house with arrival details (key details etc) being emailed the week your holiday is due to start.

Other things to note
The property has no dedicated parking space however there is a large pay and display carpark roughly 100m away. We also have no vehicle access rights and we kindly ask that guests respect our neighbours and do not attempt to drive up to the property for any reason.

For guests with disabilities or mobility issues please be aware that there are 4 or 5 steps to the main front door, the back door is at ground level but there is one step up into the kitchen from the porch. In the event of an emergency it may be necesary to exit the property down the front steps, or in the event of both doors being blocked the exit will be through a bedroom widow, so please consider this when assessing if this property is suitable for you.

Neighborhood highlights

The far west of is truly the finest part of Cornwall, once you cross the Hayle River and climb into the hills of Penwith, once and island in its own right, you have entered a unique and ancient land.

Penwith is far from the seasideness of Newquay, or the arty theme park of St Ives, Penwith is deserted beaches, high cliffs and open moorland studded with prehistoric standing stones, circles, burial chambers and iron age villages.

For sports and the outdoor life the area is stunning, surfing of course but also because you have beaches facing in all directions you can always find flatter waters for sailing , kayaking, stand up paddleboarding or wild swimming.

The roads are varied with good surfaces generally and away from the main ones very quiet so cycling around here is excellent, or if you prefer walking then you are truly spoilt for choice between the coastal path and the moors where you can roam for hours and not see another person even at the very height of summer.

If you fancy some culture small local art galleries abound, theatre and concerts are everywhere, there are some of the UKs best local weekly farmers markets to be explored, restaurants to suit every taste or you can just sit on the sea wall with a pasty and watch the ocean for a while.
