Such a beautiful space. We barely wanted to leave the house. Michael was a great host and I will likely be back.
Can't wait to come back-- an amazing experience. Thanks for the opportunity!
It was great to be able to stay at a Frank Lloyd Wright house and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and will be back myself at some point.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house, and will absolutely return again. All of the 'period' kitchen/dining room housewares made preparing meals and eating in fun, while the serene landscape and peaceful vibe of the house encouraged staying in and relaxing. We travel extensively and this is quite possibly the most enjoyable lodging we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Loved staying at the Schwartz House. I have stayed at a couple other Wright houses and this was by far the best. Michael gave us a tour upon arrival with some background to the house and then let us experience the house on our own. Couldn't have had a better stay. If you are a Wright fan, make sure the Schwartz House is on your bucket list.
The house was beautiful as shown in the pictures. There was a welcome note and a lovely, fresh bouquet was waiting for us when we arrived. The downstairs rooms were spacious and were tastefully and period appropriately furnished. We have been fans of FLW as long as I can remember, but this was the first time we actually stayed in one of his beautifully designed homes. The kitchen was equipped very well, even for foodies like us. We prepared many delicious meals and enjoyed them on the patio and in the dining area. The selection of serving ware was amazing, and a lot of fun to use. We also enjoyed many hours in the hammock which overlooked the wetlands. The upstairs bedrooms were nicely furnished, with good quality linens throughout the house.
The house was as described. Beautifully kept and maintained. We loved relaxing in the main space and on the exterior deck. Great lawn was fun for the kids to run and play on.
The house does not have air conditioning or blinds in two of the bedrooms. The summer can get hot in those rooms!
