This beautiful cottage is located in a very quiet dead end, with free parking. Great place to relax all year round, with its stunning views and cozy living room with fireplace. It was refurbished in July 2016, at a high level, with the comfort of our customers as a priority.

Easy access to the fantastic ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand and 30 minutes drive from the spectacular Lake Annecy.

The space
The "Chalet Le Daim" has an interior decoration that is a perfect mix between the modern chic and the old wood of a traditional chalet.
The main chalet has a beautiful open kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and 3 separate bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin or king) and 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub). There is also space for an extra single bed mattress on the stair landing.
On the lower floor there is a completely separate studio with its own kitchen and bathroom. This has the potential to sleep up to 4 extra people (1 double bed and 1 double pull-out bed).
This can be a perfect solution for families or shared groups to have some independence, while being connected to the main cottage.
PS: Reservations will be refunded in FULL in the event of reasons related to COVID-19 such as a lockdown decided by the government or quarantine caused by a positive COVID-19 test.

St Jean de Sixt is positioned half way between Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz. It is ideally positioned to give you a varied ski option and also allows easy access down to Annecy and the auto route in Bonneville if people are keen to explore other local resorts. Chamonix and Morzine are within a 1 hour drive from the chalet.
The village of St Jean also boasts a lovely all year round vibe with many locals living here continuously, so there is always a wide range of amenities available. These include two great restaurants and 2 bar/cafes, a supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, pizza take-away and two fantastic boulangeries for your morning croissant and baguettes!
During the ski and summer season La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand become a hub of a activity with a wide range of restaurants, bars, clubs and family events to meet everyone's needs.

Bienvenue dans mon magnifique chalet situé dans le massif des Aravis (Alpes françaises). J'ai 2 enfants. Ma compagne est Française d'origine hongroise et nous vivons près de Nancy.
C'est avec un grand plaisir que j'ai racheté le chalet Le Daim à Gemma, pour continuer de le partager avec nos futurs invités Airbnb.
Ce chalet représente pour ma famille un retour aux sources car ma grand-mère était originaire du Grand Bornand et mes arrières grands-parents sont nés dans un chalet à La Clusaz et au Grand Bornand.
