Located in the southern Adirondack Park, Moon Shadow Lodge: The Nest Guest Cottage is close to Saratoga, Glens Falls, Lake George and Gore Mountain. The area is rich in local art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, the beach and water sports, and winter activities of all kinds. You’ll love my place because of its rural, mountain setting and natural surroundings; the silent, retreat-like environment and abundant wildlife and perennial gardens. The lodge dates from the Civil War.

The space
The decor of the Nest is in the Adirondack Great Camp style, featuring wood and stone. The Lodge was built c: 1868 as a large hay barn; it was moved to a foundation with basement and converted to a home in the 1950's. The entire facility was "gutted" for renovation in 2003 and in the last 13 years developed as a personal residence/bed and breakfast with the guest house/meeting space just completed in June, 2016.
