A special place. Outdoor (seasonal) pool, sauna, year-round hot tub, gorgeous beach, and the whole Pacific Northwest are yours here. A great home base. Sleeps 4, 2 with privacy in the master bedroom, and 2 on a fold-out couch in the livingroom.
Blue Heron is a low-key ten acre resort on the South Shore of Hood Canal, less than 2 hours from Seattle (via Bremerton Ferry and 40 minute drive). An ideal retreat in any season or home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, Blue Heron has great amenities and ambiance for true comfort without the price tag of luxury accommodations. It's not the kind of place that you cherish for its style-- its not about that. It's about function and comfort in a gem of a location.
This awesome one-bedroom unit is front and center, with great views of the canal from the living room, and a stone patio. It has the best view, in fact. It is not ADA accessible, as there is a shared staircase at the entry. This one-bedroom can accommodate four, with privacy for two. It's great for families or close friends, as the bathroom is within the bedroom suite. It has a spacious bedroom with a Queen bed, chest of drawers, television and large closet. The living room has a Queen hide-a-bed, large t.v. and DVD player.
With its seasonal outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, vast beach with private dock, and newly rebuilt clubhouse with games, fitness center, and sauna, there is plenty to do on site.
Each of the twenty-two units at Blue Heron is owned as a timeshare with six owners, so availability varies. As a lifelong owner, this is my home away from home, and I hope to facilitate the rentals of these units for other owners so that more people can enjoy this amazing place, but for now, it's just mine on here.
All units include:

-Extra linens for guests
-new clubhouse with pool, ping pong, foosball, group kitchen, tv room, library/computer room, outdoor dining area, co-ed sauna, co-ed fitness room, & locker rooms

Fine and casual dining is available a short walk away (approx. 1/4 mi.) at award winning Alderbrook Resort, as well as the Robin Hood Restaurant and Pub, and Union Square Deli. You can also cook at home in the fully decked out kitchen. This retreat is perfect for fishing off the dock (or bring your boat!), collecting oysters and clams from the beach, and just holing up.
Wonderful hiking and natural sightseeing is available nearby at Lake Cushman and Staircase, as well as several other great spots along the canal and in the Olympic National Forest, which houses Washington's jaw-dropping temperate rain forests and some of the largest trees in the world.
Local casinos, nature trails, wineries, and world class SCUBA diving are in within a half hour's drive. There is plenty to explore on foot as well-- take the waterfront 1/2 mile walk to Harmony Hill for drop-in yoga and a turn in their giant outdoor labyrinth.
I am happy to help you and answer any questions you have about this beloved place and what the area has to offer. Try me!

Interaction with Guests
I don't interact much with guest usually, because I'm not needed! There are on-site managers who can get you anything you need. I am happy to interact though, as much as needed.
This is the best place ever. Hiking in the Olympic National Forest is close. You can walk to the Robin Hood restaurant/pub, and Alderbrook Resort, which has a great happy hour.
There is a bus that occasionally runs by, but I wouldn't count on it! You will definitely want a car here.
The managing office requires a credit card at check-in that they authorize for a $300 This is not a charge, but an authorization only, so it will not hit your account.
Smoking is not allowed in the units, but is fine outside.
There are guidelines, rules, and information in a binder in each unit.
All guests are expected to follow the rules of Blue Heron that are published in the units.
Guests are required to wash, dry, and put away dishes, leaving the kitchen clean.
Guests are expected to take out the garbage and recycling before checkout.
Check in hours are usually 4pm-9pm Friday and 9-5 Saturday-Thursday; checkout is usually at 10 am. There is some flexibility with check in and check out hours depending on the day of the week.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Seyta's wonderful condo in Union will be very hard to beat for quality, location and fun. Clean and spacious, across the street from a beautiful beach with loads of oysters for the picking, fantastic amenities (hot tub!) and great communication from the owner - would definitely return! Also, really easy to get to from Seattle via Bremerton ferry. Thanks Seyta!
We had a wonderful time in Hood Canal. The condo was clean, comfortable and met expectations. We felt right at home. The staff was great and Seyta was very helpful in booking and with any questions. I would stay here again for sure!
this place is in a collection of condos in a small community. it was quiet, was a short walk to the water, had a great pool and a kitchen. we walked to a nearby store and enjoyed short tips to other towns close by.
I am an open, respectful, kind person who cherishes daily existence and seeks wonderful and growth-filled experiences in every aspect of life. I have recently moved to the Bay Area for grad school. While I am here, I am renting out my timeshare on Hood Canal!
I also co-own a small business I founded in Portland, Duchess, Clothier. I love dreaming, exploring unseen realms, reading, knitting, walking around, and connecting with people.
