This is a nice little house facing straight onto a canal in a quiet location, a short and easy walk (flat, of course!) to the centre of lovely Leiden. The house is well equipped, small but nice bathroom, the stairs may be a little steep for some, has a small and mostly sunny back yard with table and chairs. Renee was away but arranged for a friend to meet me at the house which worked well (thank you, Astrid).

Renee gave us a very friendly and welcoming reception (even though we were late!) - thank you once again for the wine :) Her home is warm, cosy and comfortable, great location right in front of a canal and very central. And her garden is perfect for enjoying the last rays of sun (with enough shade if you just want to be outside). Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Renee's lovely house. Lieden is a wonderful little city and with bikes very easy to navigate around. Very relaxing.

We stayed at Renee's place while we were int town visiting my son for 3 days. Renee was there to meet us and contacted us earlier in the day to double check our arrival time. The city had recently changed parking laws and Renee went above and beyond to contact the city management and help us to get parked for the time frame we were staying. Her place was very clean and very cozy, as well as bright and cheerful. We didn't use the kitchen as we love to eat out, but it was fully equipped and with appliances and staples. We rented bicycles at a place just around the corner and there was also a great crepe place near the bicycle shop. Renee's place was just perfect for us and she is a very conscientious host!

Renee was a great host! She was very flexible upon check- in and showed us around the beautiful house to make sure we knew how everything worked. The house has a large well lit kitchen with all the amenities and the rest of the house is super comfortable and cozy. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants (which were all good) and gave us some maps. Her place is situated on a canal in Leiden within close walking distance to the main shopping street and some nice terraces in the city center. Both an Albert Heijn and a bike rental are within 5 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay, not far from restaurants and shops but in a quiet area. The piano and patio were both wonderful additions! The only thing to be wary of is the incredibly steep staircase, but that seems to be very typical for the Netherlands.

Welcome to the city, and in my house where I live with great pleasure.
I also like to travel, to see other cultures, other cities, natural surroundings and beautiful places. The Netherlands have that too !
Besides I like my privacy and so I like it to let enjoy my guests of this charming, quiet place in city center.
