The space
'the Library' cottage Guest House is a private, self contained apartment opening to its private view deck of Puget Sound, Double Bluff and Useless Bay.
Sunlight SeaScape’s buildings and grounds are harmoniously designed for quiet, privacy and closeness to green gardens and the whispers of the sea. Experience the expansiveness of clean air, sandy beaches, and lush green pastures. You’ll see eagles soaring over sunsets, hummingbirds buzzing busily, and a big bowl of beautiful sky. Come enjoy clean air, clean water, clean land as we all do our part to steward the land and conserve our precious resources.

Tucked away, private and quiet, Sunlight SeaScape is located at the end of a beautiful neighborhood street on 3/4 acre of gardens and grassy areas.
*30 minutes from the Mukilteo ferry dock to Sunlight SeaScape, or a 30-minute drive from Deception Pass bridge (traffic dependent).
*Our private neighborhood beach, Sunlight Beach, is a short walk away along a walking path, on Whidbey Island's Useless Bay.
*Parking on the property.
*Guests have access to the gardens, with two fire pits and grassy areas.

Other things to note
*Pets considered. Ask with details about yours, in advance. If approved, a pet fee will be assessed ($50 min). You are responsible for providing bedding, dishes and towels for your pet if approved.
*a 4th guest over age ten is $20 per night. Pets 10+ lbs count as a ‘being’ in the guest count.
*Notice: Guests hold Sunlight SeaScape and Olympic Marine View harmless for their use of bunkbed, property, beach area, walking path, and food items.
*Guest count includes adults, teens, children, infants, toddlers and babies. Pets add as a ‘being’ for space occupancy.
*The following holiday dates have a three-night minimum: Independence Day (July 2-6), Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
*3 night min stay June, July and August.
July and August stays may not be discounted.

Respect for neighbors is of utmost importance. Guests who are a good fit for Sunlight SeaScape will deeply enjoy and appreciate their stay. Their characteristics include respect for the neighbors, watchful of traffic, slow driving, parking according to guidelines, attendance to quiet hours after 10:00 pm, an awareness of smoke and burn bans, appropriate garbage and recycle disposal, their respectful use of furniture and furnishings including bedding, linens and towels and the respectful and appropriate use of our community beach and other accesses along Sunlight Beach. Guests will call before their arrival for details regarding the beach access.
