Continental breakfast is served in the formal dining room with period built-ins and non-working fireplace.

Interaction with Guests
We are personable, easy going guys, happy to answer questions and give advice when needed. At the same time we are respectful of our guests privacy and realize they didn't come to SF to see us.
Diversity. That is the reason I have lived with in 2 blocks of Alamo Square Park for 24 of the 27 years I've lived in San Francisco. This neighborhood is a great mix of people of all colors and ages and the offerings reflect that. The Divisadero corridor (Divisadero from Haight to Golden Gate) is a vibrant street full of all kinds of shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Alamo Square Park itself is a world renowned land mark, beautiful all year round and home of the famous "Painted Ladies" Victorian homes. Yet this area does not have the feel of a "tourist trap" area.
Our neighborhood is now a permit parking zone for street parking. This means that between the hours of 10am and 4pm there is 2 hour limit on street parking for cars without a permit. Parking is free and ample from 4pm to 10am (overnight).
The two closest bus lines (24 Divisadero and 5 Fulton, 2 blocks from our door) will get you to (or with in 1 or 2 blocks of) Union Square, Golden Gate Park, the Castro, Pacific Heights, The Civic Center, The Marina, Upper Filmore St., The De Young and Academy of Sciences museums, BART, the Asian Museum, Market Street, the Cable Car turn around (Powell St.), all the big name stores, etc.
