Nathalie was extremely welcoming when we arrived to her peaceful retreat. The place was spotless, kitchen was well stocked with coffee and teas and all the utensils, bathroom and rooms were nice and roomy, and the beds were very comfortable. Our party of 3 was only able to stay for a couple nights, and wish we stayed for more. A great place to relax after a day of snowboarding. A couple of us were able to experience Nathalie's massage... one of the best I've ever had!
Nathalie was extremely nice, helpful and easy to contact. The place was clean, well kept and a pleasure to stay in. Would recommend highly.
Nathalie our host was wonderful. She communicated promptly in advance of our arrival and was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was right next to the river and was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for us with a nearby bus stop for free bus access to the Vail ski slopes. The apartment was well stocked with basic food items and cooking supplies. We were only there for 2 days, but would have been happy to stay longer.
Nathalie was the finest host I've experienced through Airbnb or any other rental site for that matter. She went well beyond any expectation to make us comfortable and welcome, including stocking the apartment with marvelous "late-night-arrival" rations of wine, fruit, bread, eggs, milk, coffee, etc, leaving the door unlocked with the promise to meet up the next morning. And what a warm meeting that was! She drive us into town, let us use her private ski storage locker for next three days, and even loaned me her ski helmet! Morning we left, she had cleaned all the ice and snow off our car before we'd even gotten up the stairs. Location is perfect in an authentic, original Vail setting...not one of the McMansion neighborhoods that's over-the-top luxe and soulless. House and kitchen were super clean and well stocked with every essential and extra one might think of. In short, perfection. Ten stars!
We had a nice stay in Vail, and the creek side setting was beautiful. The steps were a bit treacherous given the amount of snow, but hey, it's Vail and that is a good thing!
Quiet oasis only minutes from Vail Village! Nathalie, gracious and thoughtful, offers one of the best airbnb experiences I have had, limited though my experience may be. Her unpretentious but well-appointed abode offers all amenities you could want, save for a hot tub, including a great kitchen, TV room, bathroom, and master, all complemented by enchanted, romantic sounds of a babbling brook just off the back porch. The apartment is only minutes from Vail Village and is directly serviceable by bus or car. Secret insight: ask for her kombucha. It is some of the best we have tried!
All in all, very highly recommended.
Nathalie was a great host, she make sure that everything was alright for us. She gave us many tips to good spot to ski and was very generous with us. The place is beautiful and very close to the mountain. I recommand it to anyone!

I was born in France, and moved to the States since 1983.I lived in Vincennes, France, Port-Gentil Gabon , West Africa, Concord Massachusetts, west Hollywood, Cardiff, Hermosa Beach, California , Boulder and in Vail, Colorado since 1992. I love living in the mountain. I was a ski instructor for the past 15 yrs.I love skiing. I raised two boys who are now flying their own wings and decided to turn my home into a retreat. You can simply rent a room or the whole appartment. I love to cook as well and do nothing in the summer beside tending to my veggie garden and hammocking by the creek. I find busy ness overrated... I too love to travel and connect with the local cultures, i visited, Sayolito, Puerto Escondidoin Mexico,, Byron Bay Australia,Bali, Nepal, Vietnam, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Senegal, Ivory Coast,Egypt, Lebanon, London England, switzerland, Italy.
If you want to turn your stay into a wellness retreat i do
offer, partner yoga, restorative yoga, guided mindfulness meditation, energy healing, massage thereapy and organic cooking lessons as well. i love to travel to places where i can surf as i love the ocean as much as the mountains. I live life mindfully and take full responsibility for the life i create. I find a lot of joy in harmonizing with people/life. I believe that we see the world as we are and not as it is. When our paths cross we may be strangers but we'll always part as friends. i find people fascinating and i always learn from everyone. Life is too short not to be lived fully so there is definitely a constant joie de vivre around here!
few mottos i live by : ---one cannot see new horizons until one as the courage to loose sight of the shore--- be the change you wish to see in the world--dont beleive everything you think.
Voila, to live simply brings me happiness.
i look forward to contributing awesomeness to your visit to Vail!
