Come stay in a piece of Atlanta history. This classic shotgun is a true charmer—around since 1880's, is easily one of the oldest in Reynoldstown. The history has been saved but tastefully augmented with modern architectural touches. Front porch overlooks the new Beltline! The space
Reynoldstown is a gem of a neighborhood, one of our National Register Historic places. Kenyon Street was one of the first platted streets along the rail lines. This rail line has been converted into the ever popular, ever healthy, ever convenient Beltline. You are not merely near the beltline, or walking distance to said trail, you are right across the street—could not be a better, more unique relationship.

This renovation smartly expands into the attic to create a soaring sunny living room leading to a fun loft bedroom. Beyond the living room is a small dining area, galley kitchen and finally the master bedroom. A sweet front porch overlooks the Beltline perfect for people watching while the back porch provides privacy and a front row seat to the chickens.

Enjoy very high-quality linens and mattress as well as 100% "green" cleaners and soaps. We refinished the original heart-pine hardwoods. The original fireplace is a dramatic and artistic touch reminding us of days gone by as are the original exposed rafters. Two different gorgeous stained glass windows provide light and accent. Nest thermostat, SONOS sound system powered by super fast wifi service reminds you its 2024. A dishwasher, stainless glass-top range, fridge help make a very well appointed kitchen with just about anything you might need. The house boasts Icynene spray foam insulation throughout and a Bosch tankless water heater just on the other side of the shower. Updated plumbing and super modern vanity. Original solid doors. Plenty of storage in closets and kitchen.

Reynoldstown is happening::: Walk to a fun coffee shop with dog park, amazing train depot turned restaurant, many varied eateries, rocking bars, top music venue, multiple parks and bike to soo so much more. We are very close to the Beltline obviously. Abutting Cabbagetown, Atlanta Dairies (featuring the Eastern music venue), Little Five Points, Inman Park, Krog Street Market, Ponce City Market. Less than a mile to Downtown, The Merchandise Mart, Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park, and conventions. Twelve minute bike ride to Midtown and all her amenities including the Botanical Gardens and High Museum. Easy bike ride to East Atlanta Village, Grant Park, Zoo, Turner Field, Georgia Tech, Georgia State and more.

The whole house is yours, come and enjoy. We even have a large private vegetable and fruit garden next door that you can see from the kitchen window. Wander around, pick a blackberry or scuppernog or just sit and take in the lovely atlanta weather. We have 4 chickens (no roosters) roaming the yard and a cool coop. We will come by every other day to check on them but you'll hardly notice them or us.

Other things to note
The loft bedroom area is accessed by a ship's ladder--made from extremely dense heart pine from the renovation. It is steep for stairs but very well built and comfortable, please proceed with caution. All children must be supervised coming up and down it. Mine scamper up and down it easily but it could be considered dangerous (and or unique). This area does not have a door but is fairly private from the living room.
