The space
Our Cottage has an open concept, kitchen, eating area, living room. Living room has a sofa sleeper, and 3 chairs.
3 good size bedrooms, 1 room has a queen bed, 2nd room has a queen and a twin sofa sleeper, 3rd room has a full over full bunk bed and a single fold out ottoman sleeper.
2 full bathrooms and a laundry room.
We have 2 toddler beds, 1 pack n play, and other children's items if needed let me know I can tell you more.
It has a back porch and a deck facing the lake, a sand beach and a boat dock. An above ground fire pit and a BBQ grill.
This cozy cottage is comfortable for 2 people or a 12 person group.
It has a large parking area it can accommodate 6+ cars depending on how they park. The driveway can accommodate an RV, plus parking.
There is Poonton rental at the Hubers marina on the lake thats expensive, but available.
Gas is also available at the marina and there is a small shop with tubes and things for sale.
If you are bringing a boat let me know.

Entire Cottage with possible shared beach at waters edge if my Grandkids are in town, wifi, Roku and tv available.
Outdoor shower that is great for rinsing the sand off the kids before they come back in the house.
Fire pit on the vacant lot next door.

Other things to note
If my Grandkids are in town we share the beach at waters edge and" IF" we have the flotation island in you are welcome to use it, please don't drag it in.
If you want complete privacy just let me know.

LaPorte has 4 golf courses, antique shops and lighthouse outlet shopping near by in Michigan City, Blue chip Casino 15-20 mins away. Round barn wine tasting.
Some Summer fun activities LaPorte has bike races, a mini boat race, classic car show, great parades!
The Indiana Dunes state park is close by, The Hesston Steam museum is open all Summer, ride 3 different trains, great family fun! For Young and old
This house is comfortable and cozy for any occasion!

We sit on the channel, but if you look at the picture we have full view of the Lake!
Yes you can swim in the channel we do all the time, it's a "No Wake" zone out to the lake
