We offer simple traditional Thai-Issan hosting. The wood house, our family, the area and the way we live, all present the authenticity and simplicity of the Issan way of life. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and/or families.
The price figuring on the listing is for 1 room (max. 2 persons per room). If you want to book both rooms we will offer a discount and the price would be a little below 2x the price figuring now.

The space
The house is a traditional Issan wood house that we move on our land in order to accommodate family and visiting friends. So far our guests have always been delighted by their stay in our place.
We deliberately keep our garden wild and alive with plenty of fauna and more importantly fruits and flowers trees.
We will also be offering breakfast to our guests and free bicycle rent.

Guest access
You will have access to the small terrace between the rooms (with a bench balcony) and a large space below the house, with tables and chairs. The third room in the house is occupied by a member from our family so you will not get the entirety of the house.

Of course you will have also access to the outside bathroom and laundry room behind the main house.

You will have access to the large garden and may even benefit from the fruits directly from the trees.

Due to privacy the access to our main house will be restricted but breakfast will be taken in the main house gallery.

Other things to note
I am a former tour guide and my wife an expert working at the Sirindhorn Dinosaur Museum. We can offer for a fair price a private tour of the attractions around, historical and prehistorical sites, local temples as well as the closest national parks.

During your stay
We are a large family (2 to 5 adults and 3 young ladies) so you can expect a lot of interactions but we will do the necessary for your stay to be as quiet as possible.

On a daily basis we use 4 different languages in our home: Thai and Issan dialect and also English and French.

I (Romain) works at the local university and stay there during the week. My wife (Tida) works at the museum so the whole family is usually busy in the morning and evening. During the day, after the girls left for school, our place is very quiet.

If you are interested in conversation about local attractions, Thai history or Issan way of life, try to book during a week end as you will get more occasions to discuss with me and Tida. Ki
