This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Leave it all behind and getaway to the KZN Midlands. We are nestled in the village of Rosetta, overlooking the new Spring-Grove Dam and the most magnificent views of Giants Castle Mountain.
This charming off grid cottage has loads of character. An open plan lounge with a log fireplace, dining room & kitchen looking onto the mountains. Grab an early hot cuppa whilst enjoying the migration of the dairy cows down to the Mooi River. Running on Solar and Gas means our appliances are low capacity.
The space
Come and unplug whilst connecting with loved ones. Play card games, light the boma, tell old family histories, light candles, read a book, drink wine, star gaze and refresh your soul.
This three bedroomed cottage gives an easy walk down to the Mooi River which can complete your morning regime. You can prepare excellent breakfasts on your verandah or be adventurous and head down to the outdoor kitchen overlooking the river. Alternatively the Meander is riddled with incredible coffee shops and weekend markets.
This is a home away from home cottage that is solar powered, so we worry not about load shedding. On rainy and cloudy days, we cuddle up around the fire and rely on mother nature for light and comfort.
Guest access
Main Gate with electric fencing and an intercom buzzer at the gate.
Other things to note
Please bring warm clothes as it can get very cold especially when the sun goes down and the snow appears on the mountain. A pair of good closed walking shoes are necessary to walk around the farm. When there is too much rain we may ask you to park about 80m from the cottage so your car can easily access the property.
