Set on 18 acres of rainforest, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath home offers mountain views and cool temperatures. A private trail winds through the estate’s cocoa farm to where two small rivers meet. A waterfall flows into a natural dipping pool — a secluded spot to cool off.
Hummingbirds and rare parrots found only in Dominica visit daily. Wander tropical gardens and enjoy a central location near Ponte Casse, making it easy to explore the “Nature Island.”
The space
Because of its central location on the island The Ramelton Estate makes a great "central command" for the island's many activities.

You would have complete privacy in the home. There is a “donkey road” on the property that will take you through a developing cocoa farm leading to a small, natural waterfall and pool where you could play or bathe. You may need the caretaker to help navigate it. There are some steep spots.

Dominica is a hidden gem. They call it "The Nature Island" because of how lush and undeveloped it has remained. The adventures are endless!

I'm obsessed with: Nature and donkeys!
My husband and I love to travel especially to places rich in nature. I joke that I have a mild rainforest addiction. We have two Airbnbs that we love to share with guests. One is on the island of Dominica called The Ramelton Estate (which is also a chocolate farm) and the other is a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Both are wonderful but it’s a farmhouse with 2 dogs, a cat, 5 donkeys, 2 water buffalos and 18 cows in Dade City, Florida that we call home.
