Spanning the top of a bluff, this cabin is very private, has an open floor plan with a glass wall facing the lake, fireplace, HDTV, full kitchen, king bed, and an outdoor shower in a unique patio area between the cabin and bluff.

The space
Bluff Cabin rests at the base of a stunning, limestone cliff with a commanding view of Beaver Lake.

Spanning the top of a bluff and the base of its higher cousin, this cabin is now the highest building at the resort and makes an excellent addition to the Eureka Springs area. Like our others, the Bluff Cabin is very private and has an open floor plan intended to accommodate one couple. Unlike the others, it also features a private outdoor shower and intimate, flagstone courtyard next to the limestone wall with seating and romantic, evening illumination.

Inside the front wall that faces Beaver Lake is made almost entirely of glass with a large, two-person Jacuzzi built into it. The cabin's other features include a native stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and expanded deck space with a screened porch.

Despite being the highest building, The Bluff Cabin is fully wheelchair accessible and A.D.A. compliant as is our office and one of the private lake view suites. A picture below shows a long, auxiliary stairway ascending the lower bluff that would be just at home in a mining town, but rest assured there’s a paved parking lot at the top. The stairway itself is there to provide a scenic shortcut to the office and lake.

As mentioned, you'll also find a very private, all-weather outdoor shower with immediate access to the cabin's interior bathroom tucked away in the courtyard. The shower is wonderful for many months of the year, but for our thermal enthusiasts, a piping-hot interlude with snow on the ground can be a most engaging experience. If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, relax because we've brought the outdoors to you with a window in the interior shower looking out on the bluff as well, complete with a rain-drop shower head and four-port body spray system.

Where you’ll be

Eureka Springs, Arkansas, United States

Located 8 scenic miles west of Eureka Springs, Beaver Lakefront Cabins is located in the Ozark Mountains where you will find numerous vacation activities and unique attractions to fill out your schedule. The last 1 1/4 miles to the resort is an unpaved, gravel county road. The county road is scenic and solid in all weather but mother nature does provide extra bumps and dips at certain times.

Eureka Springs is a charming, historical city nestled in a dramatic section of the Ozark Mountains. In 1880 the town boomed from a population of 400 to over 4,000 then quickly reached 11,000 as news of the "miraculous healing properties" of the many natural springs around Eureka Springs spread leaving behind a rich legacy of Victorian architecture and quirky outposts.

The next cycle of growth occurred in the 1960's as successive waves of artists, merchants, preservationists, nature enthusiasts and retirees arrived to build the vibrant, diverse, free-for-all that is modern day Eureka Springs. Here you will find an abundance of excellent restaurants, art galleries, antique stores, craft shops, two live theaters, flea markets, and an assortment of bars and nightclubs for your evening entertainment.

Consider a visit to the National Historic Register's Blue Spring Heritage Center that sources over 38 million gallons a day of clear blue water into it's trout-filled lagoon or the nearly 500 acre Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge housing over 100 rescued big cats.

The local area offers a variety of outdoor adventures including zip lining, horseback riding, caving at War Eagle Caverns, touring Beaver Lake on the Belle of the Ozarks, scuba diving near the Beaver Dam, hiking at Lake Leatherwood, bird watching, and of course, the stunning White River is renowned for its trout fishing and recreational canoeing.

Crystal Bridges Museum, located about 45 minutes away provides for an excellent day trip from the cabins. It takes its name from a nearby natural spring and the bridge construction incorporated in the building, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie and includes a restaurant on a glass-enclosed bridge overlooking the ponds. Sculpture and walking trails link the Museum's 120-acre park and a world class museum specializing in American artwork.
