We had a great time staying for one night at Charlie's Cape Cod Cottage. Charlie was an excellent host--easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and flexible about our arrival time (which changed slightly the day of arrival). His home is lovely--the rooms are a fine size for two people. Bathroom is located right across the hall and the sitting area was a great place to relax. The neighborhood is great, too. Plenty of side streets for walks and the main roads all have side walks. We were in Falmouth to attend a wedding at the Sea Crest hotel which is literally just up the street- a very quick cab ride away. We would definitely stay again!
We chose Charlie's Airbnb based on his many good reviews and he did not disappoint! He offers a pleasant home, interesting conversation, and more. We brought our bikes and rode down the Shining Sea bike path to Woods Hole, stopping at the beach on the way. We had a wonderful time.
We enjoyed a fabulous few days at Cape Cod Cottage, Charles made us feel welcome and at ease and helped with suggestions for family activities as well as local restaurant recommendations. The accommodation is fantastic, 2 bedrooms, a lounge and a porch area for our use. As mentioned by others, the blueberry pancakes are brilliant!
The local beach is only a 10 minute stroll away and well worth a visit.
Wow, what a nice place to stay! The house was quiet, clean and we were welcome like king with a delicious breakfast. Thanks Charles!
The house is in a lovely family neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Charles was very accomodating and entertaining! The "wing" where we stayed felt like summer homes I've seen before in New England --the history of the property and Charles' family was very sweet --he even treated us to a video of Falmouth history --over killer blueberry pancakes! This worked great for us as a stopover on the way back up to Boston --a fun stopover!
Charles made us feel welcome and at ease. He made us wonderful breakfasts each morning and recommended restaurants and activities for us.
His house is beautiful and the Air BnB space is generous with two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and private terrace.
This is an Air BnB to come back to. Thanks Charles - you are a legend.
Our stay was fantastic. Charles was very easy to communicate with prior to our stay. He responded to all my questions in a timely manner. The house is in an awesome location. Very secluded and quiet. Charles gave us several restaurant suggestions around town. He even cooked us breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!!
