Charlie was an excellent host! He graciously welcomed me, my husband, and our 10 month baby girl for a short stay on Cape Cod in his beautiful home and suggested some great places to check out in the area along with a map! We loved the history of the home and the place was better than the pictures make it look. He has lots of books and art in his home and we got to discuss some of the stories behind the artwork with him. I was excited that there was a working fireplace in the living area and Charlie lit it for us to enjoy with some wine. He also made us gluten free pancakes in the morning, since I am gluten-intolerant, and they were better than my own recipe! Overall an excellent experience, a great place to stay in the Falmouth area!
Charles was very nice ,kind and welcoming. He even offered us breakfast, which was very tasty. He was so kind to tell us about the history of Cape Cod and how it developed etc.
We had two rooms and a living room to ourselves. The place is great. Yes, it is mainly dark Wood, but has such a nice atmosphere. We really did enjoy our stay and can only recommend to stay with Charles.
Charles was a wonderful host! My friend and I were taking a road trip through the northeast and Charles helped us plan out our itinerary for the cape cod area. He taught us all about the history of the area and gave us lots of helpful tips on fun places to see. He is very well-read and interesting to talk to. He also made us pancakes (which were the best I've ever had!). The accommodations are great, in a beautiful location, and very comfortable. Strongly recommend!
Charles and I had so much to chat about because our professional interests overlapped quite a bit! The house was lovely; a bright and cozy mix of old and classically new. I had lots of space to myself with my own screened in porch and sitting area. Charles was very welcoming and I would definitely recommend his home to anyone.
The room is very beautiful and cozy. Charles is friendly and nice.we like the everything of the house, decoration, essential provided , music, etc. Charles even invite us for breakfast! Excellent experience!I recommend people who visit cape cod to choose this place to stay!
The cottage was just as advertised. It was very nice with a lot of old style charm. I want to thank Charles for opening up his home to the boys and me. He was extremely friendly, and the pancake breakfast was great. The suggestions for/help with taking in the lower Cape and Woods Hole proved invaluable. Best wishes!
