My home is located 17 minutes from the Bellagio Hotel and 13 minutes from downtown on a quiet 'country' 1/2 ac w/ large veggie garden. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, Walmart. Large comfy studio apartment with queen bed, desk, small refrigerator, microwave, private bathroom. The Studio has its own entrance and is separate from the main house. If you want a twin bed brought in there is a $15/night extra charge.

The space
There is a bar fridge, microwave oven, WiFi and TV with Netflix, towels and soap, shampoo, hair dryer, conditioner and a bidet in the bathroom. The space is huge, bright and there is a window in the bathroom that looks out into the garden. I can bring in a comfy twin bed for a child or friend to sleep on for a 3rd person fee. Because we live in a desert and have been in drought conditions we are observing water restrictions which will limit hot water for showers to 10 minutes. This is usually more than enough time for washing hair and showering. I apologize that I cannot offer therapeutic showers like I once enjoyed, I save those for the health club.

Guest access
Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent. Guests are welcome to enjoy the back porch and garden. There are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy. I don't offer the use of my kitchen as I don't cook. There is a Keurig coffee pot, a microwave oven and a small fridge in your room.

Other things to note
Guests have a small refrigerator in the kitchen stocked with bottled water. If you want to warm food there is a microwave oven. There is a bidet and hair dryer in the bathroom and shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower and an ironing board and iron in the closet. The room is totally sanitized for each new guest. Guests that are under 21 must be accompanied by a parent. Please post a picture and write a short paragraph about yourself. This is my home you are coming to and I have written describing myself so you feel comfortable.

The Guesthouse and Studio are for the registered Airbnb guests and their declared partner, spouse, friend or relative and not to be used as a hostel or dormitory or for parties or business transactions. I will furnish a twin bed mattress for a child or adult for an an additional linen fee. Guests have to be registered with me to stay here as this is my home and I want us feel safe and uncrowded. If you are under 21 years old you must be accompanied by a parent.

The neighborhood consists mostly of larger and older custom ranch type homes and middle age working and retired people as opposed to a neighborhood of closely spaced track homes and young children. Some neighbors have horses. It is a quiet neighborhood with large trees and space between neighbors.

I am a horticulturist and published writer who loves to garden and travel. I have an Airstream Interstate motor home that carries a motor scooter so I can poke around the towns and areas when I get where I am going. I operate The Sweet Tomato Test Garden and an Air BnB and teach gardening here and travel to speak in other desert communities. I like visiting and meeting new friends. I have a sizable vegetable garden and lots of fruit trees for you to enjoy. My adorable and friendly 6-pound Yorkie loves belly-rubs and loves to play and meet people. Are you allergic to dogs? She is not allowed in the guest rooms and is hypoallergenic (doesn't shed hair).
