Walk out the door of this cozy log cabin and on to some of the most beautiful trails in Acadia. This recently remodeled cabin is nestled on 10 acres of tranquil forest and blueberry fields on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island. And even though nestled away, you will be within minutes of the quaint Southwest Harbor shops and restaurants. We are green certified by Sustonica as a sustainable short term rental and by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat.

Neighborhood highlights

Very secluded and private location on the Quiet Side, away from the main tourist centers but with easy access to all the Island has to offer. Take a short walk to beautiful Long Pond and hike its many trails or to Echo lake with its trails and beach. Enjoy meals on the deck overlooking the blueberry fields with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Only a 1.5 miles from quaint Southwest Harbor town center with its charming shops and restaurants.
