I have two private, comfortable, and spacious bedrooms, that share a very roomy, nice bathroom. It is in the center of a very lovely, quite, and scenic area of Moscow. Enjoy a stocked refrigerator and microwave in a very spacious seating area.
There are 2 private bedrooms downstairs and you can enter from the private entrance downstairs. There is a very spacious seating area for your relaxation and enjoyment. Off street parking is available. Moscow is the home of the University of Idaho and has all the activities associated with a university. Also, Washington State University is only 7 miles west! Moscow is rich in cultural events, museums, and fun shopping. Day trips into the mountains for hunting, fishing, skiing, and picnicking, or have a great time sight seeing. You will be glad you came!!
There is a large parking area from which you will enter through the garage straight into your area. If you have a question or need something you will simply knock on the upstairs door or call my cell. I will be happy to speak with you. When you come to check in, come to the upstairs front red door. Internet is available.
Interaction with Guests
On nice days or evenings the guests might be invited to sit on a scenic deck, by the fire pit, or enjoy the pool. It would depend if my family would be using these facilities.
Our neighborhood is quiet with well established homes that have beautifully developed yards and tremendous views of the Palouse and the mountains.
We do have a public transit called Wheatland Express. One stop is just down the hill from me. I will have a time table in your room.
Other Things to Note
If you wish to rent both bedrooms, there is an extra fee of $30 per person. Both bedrooms are set up for double occupancy. I only rent the second bedroom to families or groups, so don't worry about maybe having to share the bathroom with strangers.
After check-in you will enter by way of the garage by using the touch pad on the side of the garage. Be sure when leaving and returning to put down the garage door. No smoking. I would expect you to treat the rooms with respect and be reasonably quiet. I want you to enjoy your stay, so if you need anything, please knock on the upstairs door or call my cell.
Pets are welcome if they are house-trained and well-behaved. I love animals, but no longer have any.
I had such a peaceful and comfortable stay at Aunt Patricia's! The bedroom was huge plus an entire sitting area with every amenity I might need. The room was very quiet and private, and in a mature neighborhood not far from downtown. I enjoyed the selection of books and magazines. Patricia made me feel welcome and had a refrigerator stocked with snacks, breakfast muffins, fruit, candy, coffee and tea. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Patricia was easy to get ahold of and very pleasant. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the bottle of wine she gave us.
Thank you, Melissa, for the nice review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and the bottle of wine. I hope to be able to serve you when next you have occasion to be in the Palouse area. The game didn't leave much to be desired, however, the Cougs did seem to get it together the last half. I watched it to the bitter end! Maybe next year! LOL!
Patricias house is in a very quiet middle class neighborhood. The space is perfect for a short stay. It is in a basement so the furnace is noisy for light sleepers. The host was very nice and accommodating.
Dan, Thank you for the nice comments. I really do value your input. I am sorry for the furnace noise. I will see if I can get someone out to take a peek at it. Otherwise, I don't know what to do about it. I hope you will consider Patricia's Cozy 2 Bedroom BnB when you next have an occasion to be in the area.
Neighborhood was friendly, upper middle class. Description was accurate. Host made us feel welcome with a friendly greeting and a very nicely set-up room.
Our host Patricia was very welcoming upon our arrival. She gave us a tour and showed us the property. The convenience to the University is great. Very nice neighborhood.
Molly, sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Been a little busy. About the TV: I considered putting a TV down there. I talked with the guy who would be doing the work. He said the cable would have to come in the top corner of the bedroom and coil down to the floor, then across the carpet to the television. I just kept thinking about that cord coming out of basically the ceiling corner and just did not want a hole in that part of the house. Most people have their laptops and iPads and can stream a movie or news on them. Thanks for the suggestion, but just can't do it. I hope everything else was satisfactory for you.
Excellent first experience with airbnb. Patricia was wonderful and very accommodating.
It is challenging to find good accomidations when after attending a WSU game. We were blessed to have welcoming and clean accomidations with Aunt Patricia's Cozy, 2BR BnB. It was a basment space entering through the garage so I can't give more than 3 stars, but it is a very good 3 stars. The best basement I have every slept in!
Wilbert, Thank you for your kind words. Again I apologize for the cold room. I will suggest that at your next Airbnb stay, if there is something awry please contact your host. I could have made your visit much more pleasant with just a flip of a switch. Thank you for choosing Aunt Patricia's Cozy 2 BR BNB.
I am a retired school teacher, a widow, and a happy grandma. I taught elementary school for 25 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a BS degree, and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK with a Master's degree. I grew up in West Texas, and lived in Stillwater, OK for 15 years. I have two daughters and one granddaughter. I'm happy to be a 25 year resident of the lovely town of Moscow, Idaho.
I like to visit the tropics, and also, enjoy cruises. I just recently returned from a cruise that cruised around the Hawaiian Islands stopping at four islands. It was very fun. I belong to a book club, and I am currently reading The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown. It is a great book about the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
I really enjoy having guests in my home, and I am very much looking forward to meeting you!
