Awhalecrossing Vacation Rental is located in the rural countryside, yet only 3 miles from Hawi Town. Walking distance to the ocean with hiking trails to historical sites, King Kamehameha's birth site, Mo'okini heiau and more. Grandma's Cabin House is 2 story, 2 bedroom (sleeps 5). Downstairs has 1 queen bed. Upstairs has 1 king bed & 1 twin bed in same small room. 1-bathroom downstairs, full kitchen. Great ocean and sunset views.

The space
We call it a Hawaiian Experience. Very Private. Handicap accessible. Awesome ocean views and sunsets. Screened in porch, wrap around deck where you can see the whales jumping & cruzin’ by during humpback whale season (Nov-Apr). We can hear their tails flappin' and sometimes hear their song. VERY SPECIAL!

Other things to note
There are great hiking trails right out front to the ocean and historical spots, like King Kamehameha's birth site, Mo'okini heiau and more. Awesome ocean and sunset views. We have 2 Golden Retrievers, “Shady Lady & Jazzy”& 2 Golden Doodles, “Goldie & Coconut”.

Neighborhood highlights

Very Private. There're only two houses on this road. One mile down bumpy road from Akoni Pule Hwy to our place on Old Coast Guard Road. We're surrounded by 850 acres of Bishop Estates pastureland. Beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Walking distance to the ocean and historical King Kamehameha birth site and Mo'okini Heiau. It's a "special place". We call it a Hawaiian Experience.
PS: We have 2 Golden Retrievers & 2 Golden Doodles.. Very friendly :)
