A quaint A-frame in the woods. The cabin is located close to Mount Rainier and is a 1 minute walk to the Nisqually River. Enjoy sitting next to the wood stove after a hike up in the national park, enjoy the wooded views and relax. Wifi has connectivity issues we are trying to remedy. This cabin has become very popular for photo shoots and elopements. If you would like to use the cabin outside of simple accommodation, please contact us beforehand for pricing.

The space
Rustic and modern in one. The cabin was built in 1965 but the interior is modern, chic and comfortable. Newly remodeled spring 2016. It's awesome.

Guest access
You've got the entire place to yourself. Mount Rainier National Park is a short drive away. Or walk off the back of the property and check out the Nisqually River, only a stones throw from the back door.

Other things to note
I will be in contact with you one week prior to your visit with cabin access information as well as driving directions.

The water is sourced from an underground aquifer, it is safe to drink but sometimes it has a little bit of iron in it which gives it a bit of a yellow tint. We have provided jugs of water for your convenience for cooking and drinking should you prefer. Please feel free to ask us any questions about the amenities as we are always happy to help.

The kitchen is pretty well stocked, with the basics, coffee, creamer, salt pepper, hot sauce, hot chocolate etc for you to use and make yourself feel at home.

The bedroom is a loft style and the access is through a set of small stairs. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about this.

Our cabin is a quaint little one, totaling about 700 sq feet, the bathroom is small and the shower is equally small but gets the job done.

There is no cell reception at the cabin but we do have WIFI! Make sure you download the documents we send you about driving and access before you head out for your getaway.

If you plan to use the wood stove or make a bonfire outside you will want to bring your own. Suvers, the general store in Ashford, sells firewood. (It is your responsibility to note burn bans during the summer)

We DO allow weddings/elopements/photography as long as your event has been approved. We have special requirements and charges to utilize the cabin in this way, please reach out and we can discuss the details.

Neighborhood highlights

Quiet and quaint. On a cul-de-sac, no road noise. There is access to the Nisqually river a few hundred yards out the back door. We have a few neighbors in the cul-de-sac but most of the properties are used as second homes, so this is a great place to unplug and refresh.
