Interaction with Guests
I'm always around as I work from home so chances are I'll be here to show you around - unless I'm traveling the world. In that case just call me if you need anything.
Our neighborhood has been referred to as "Funky Town" by Phoenix Magazine. There are lots of artists who call Coronado home as well as many great restaurants within walking distance. Many people (like us!) keep chickens in their backyard and I've even see a gentleman take his miniature "service" pony for a walk down the street. Welcome to Funky Town.
The nearest bus stop is on 7th Street and is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The closest light-rail station is only a 10-12 minute walk from the guest house.
Other Things to Note
Wow that's a lot of yellow stars.
Try the fresh eggs for breakfast or try the local restaurants. Do NOT eat at McDonalds. The shower is STRONG and you will never feel so clean...so sing in the shower. The toilet flush is strong and loud...don't let it startle you. Travel more and be happy...go on and book the ticket. Pets are ALWAYS welcome.
Enjoy your stay in Phoenix.
We loved our stay here. Its so charming as described and after 7 days of camping this guest house was perfect last pit-stop for our trip. We loved the fresh chicken eggs and ambience of this place.
Sky kept in great contact with us and made it very easy for us. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Sky as we were only here for one night (wished it was longer!!) but he was an amazing host.
The place itself was immaculate and had everything (and more) that you would need. Would defiantly return if I was in Phoenix again!
Sky is a great host! We arrived on one of the hottest days of the summer (car read 118). Sky had turned on the AC prior to our arrival making his guest house a welcomed oasis from the heat. His pictures and description of the gueSt house was spot on. Although we didn't meet Sky upon our arrival, he was easy to reach via text. If we ever need a place to stay in Phoenix, I'd stay here.
Sky made it very easy, we loved the place and the chickens:) She is so thoughtful, there were chilled beer glasses in the freezer and cold water in the fridge - exactly what we needed after hot drive! The bed was super comfortable too!
Sky was very communicative leading up to the trip. What a cute space! I wish I could've stayed longer and enjoyed the fresh eggs and charming outdoor area at this guest house. Private and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

About the Host, Sky
I married my best friend on a beach in Mexico, rode bicycles with the locals on the streets of Beijing, hiked the hill towns of the Cinque Terra in Italy, explored 12th century Cambodian temples, swam with sharks in Bora Bora, been offered a beer on the Great Wall, sat 5 feet from wild orangutans in the Sumatran jungle, found heaven in the Alps of Switzerland, played with baby elephants in Thailand, tried speaking Arabic to shopkeepers in Marrakech, found pura vida in Costa Rica, saw what a wall can do in Berlin, marveled at Eiffel's Tower, experienced Dutch tolerance in Amsterdam, walked the Cliffs of Mohr, hiked Machu Picchu, bobsledded down the Olympic track in Innsbruck, rode a camel on the beach in Abu Dhabi, meandered through the Siq to witness Petra's beauty, and shopped my way through Istanbul's Grand Bazar.
The world is my sandbox.
Can you pass me that little plastic shovel please?
