It's a small double bedroom with private bathroom, balcony with a very nice sea view, refrigerator, hair dryer, tv, enternet wifi.Enternet access wi fi free is also at bar "pan e vin", very close the room, where Cristiana works with her housband and where breakfast is served.
This room is perfect for a short staying, especially for people who like to walk, to swim, and to visit all the village of cinque terre. Of fact the room is very close at the start of the footpath to Vernazza and then to Monterosso and in the other direction to Manarola.
The best way to came here is by train; From la Spezia, by train is just 15 minutes and then from Corniglia's train station is possible to walk (10/15 minutes) or take the shuttle bus (just five minutes): then from the bus stop take the little way, Via Fieschi, in between the ATM and the restaurant "dau tinola" and then in about 70 metres you will find the bar "pan e vin".
Our stay in Corniglia was absolutely amazing. Cristina is a very welcoming host who gave us good advice on the walks there are to do inbetween the villages of Cinque Terre. The room has a magnificent view on the mediterreanean sea - incredible here because of its everchanging colors - and on the Corniglia village, hanging high above a cliff. It is a real pleasure to wake up with such a view. We hope to be back soon.
Cristiana was one of the warmest host we have ever met! She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable (e.g., even offering to switch on the WIFI so we have late night access even tho the cafe was closed) and even assisted us to identify the best route to Nice.
The room while small was very comfortable, clean, warm and well stocked. The view was indeed breathtaking.
Cristiana is a very kind and thoughtful host, the apartment with view is great and clean, amazing view I could not get rid of...
I got unfortunately sick, so I had to leave earlier than it was planned, but I will definitely come back to Corniglia at Cristiana's!
Cristiana was a great host, very nice and helpful. Upon us arriving in Corniglia, she gave us the names of some restaurants to go to during our stay, and she gave us maps with hiking paths marked out for us to go visit the other villages. The view from the room is incredible!
The only downside we experienced while there was the shower only stayed hot for a short time before the water turned cold. As advertised, there isn't an internet connection in the room. There is wifi at Cristiana's bar, Pan e Vin, but it's a few minutes' walk away.
Overall it's a great room for a couple that wants to experience the Cinque Terre as much as possible.
Loved staying here. Small room with great views. Cristiana was wonderful, helpful and so friendly. Breakfast, though not large, was at the cafe only a couple of minutes walk away from room. Always a friendly welcome from Stephano. Free WIFI was available at cafe. If we ever go back to Corniglia, we would be staying here or at one of Cristiana's other rooms. Corniglia was a great town to stay in, the smallest of the 5, but it seemed more quaint and not as busy as the other 4 Cinque Terre towns. The walk up the steps to get there was no hassle, and if you don't want to walk after a long tiring day, there was a shuttle bus to take you to the top. Thanks Cristiana, you are the best!
Very clean, very quiet room with a gorgeous view. The room is teeny, but the bathroom is big and you'll be spending all your time eating fresh anchovies, hiking, and drinking wine on her stunning balcony. Cristiana is also an incredible host and provides additional value of a continental breakfast at the cafe she runs with her husband. Can't wait to come back!
Cristiana was a great host - super prepared and helpful when we got there with a map of Cinque Terre and the train timetable. She even helped explain which trails were closed and what our options were.
Her apartment was cosy, clean and perfectly located with a fabulous view. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a place in Cinque Terre!
P.S. Corniglia was also by far our favourite village of the five!
I can't write a good enough review for our stay at Christiana & Stefano's place. The room is small, but is very clean & cozy and has everything you'll need. Christiana adds very nice, thoughtful touches for guests. The view & the private balcony are what drew us in and it did not disappoint!! Amazingly peaceful place to sit back and enjoy the local wines and some tasty snacks from the market.
You can tell that Christiana & Stefano are truly genuine people, and they love doing what they do. Their bar/café Pan e Vin is great - we enjoyed our morning breakfasts and more than a few glasses of wine here ;) We didn't spend enough time here - once we arrived we knew we'd be coming back some day. It is a very special, beautiful place. If you're headed to Cinque Terre, don't hesitate to book in at one of Christinana's places!!
Cristiana made our visit to Cinque Terre a wonderful experience. She gave us directions by train or by car when we booked with her. The room was cheerful and clean. The breakfast included was a treat! Delicious Cappuccino, juice and a pastry from her restaurant. She communicated so well in English and was happy to answer any questions we had. It was a fabulous experience. We encourage everyone to go and hope to return!
Cristiana was a most welcoming host and the room was perfect for our stay. The little balcony was ideal for enjoying a glass if wine while taking in the breath-taking view. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We loved Corniglia. There is easy access to the trails and to the other towns, yet the town becomes lovely and quiet by late afternoon. Cristiana was also able to provide great recommendations for dining in the town. We would love to return and stay longer next time.
