The kitchen window and back patio look out onto rugged BLM land that borders the National Park. The back patio has a gas BBQ grill and a picnic table that's ready to go for your outdoor cooking and dining.
The entire house has been uniquely remodeled for a clean modern feeling while preserving aspects of the houses' 1950's vintage. Tastefully furnished with modern vintage pieces and artwork made by local artists. For a nearby adventure, just a short hike, is a not so well known place called Coyote Hole. There you'll find Native American petroglyphs and a small canyon with a natural spring. Coyote, bobcat, and even a mountain lion have been reported to roam this area.

Had a wonderful time staying at Thomas' listing. The house was just as described, with plenty of character and great energy. Wouldn't hesitate to come back
Overall a wonderful experience! The house was spacious, clean, charming, and the perfect house for a weekend getaway (I went with a small group of friends from LA). The mid century décor adds a fun twist and the attention to detail is immaculate. The house is in a good location as it is close to Joshua Tree National Park, Pioneer Town (Pappy and Harriet's), local farmers markets and shops, etc.). We even used the BBQ and fire pit out back, which made for a fun evening experience. Thomas was a great host, very friendly and communicated promptly. I would recommend this rental to anyone!
The house was fantastic. I came here for a nice fourth of July weekend with friends and everyone was impressed with the house, I would highly recommend it. The views from the living room are beautiful.
Thomas' home is beautiful, artistic, clean, and one of the best-equipped AirBnBs I've had the pleasure to stay in. There's definitely a reason why this place has been so well-rated by guests. My family and I were delighted to stay in this comfortable home, and it is very conveniently located near Joshua Tree National Park. I would definitely highly recommend this home!
The house was exactly as it appeared in the photos. Very clean, and Thomas had even gotten the air running so it would be cool when we arrived. Due to conflicting schedules Thomas met us the next day, but he was always available via phone, and had good recommendations on what to do in the area and in the park.
We did some cooking; the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and well organized.
Lastly, the house is located very close to the park, which was awesome. Would absolutely book again!
This was the perfect place to stay for our group of 3 couples. We paid extra to use the studio, it was well worth it. We enjoyed the BBQ, outdoor dining area, and the fully-equipped kitchen. Thank you Thomas for all of your help, we really loved staying at your place.
This wasn't just a place to stay -- Thomas had brochures and guide books on Joshua Tree, directed us to awesome venues we wouldn't have been aware of otherwise, and was always readily available with any questions or advice.
The house itself was in impeccable condition, extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was also very well stocked with everything you could need, including every kitchen appliance, extra bedding, toiletries, etc.
The location is beyond perfect, a minute from the main stretch of restaurants (which are delicious), coffee, yoga and just a few minutes from the Joshua Tree park entrance.
If you decide to stay here, you're guaranteed to have a great time and be very well taken care of.
