Located in the coastal small town of Sedgwick, the house sits in a field partially surrounded by trees and has a view of the Benjamin River and Eggemoggin Reach. The house has three bedrooms, two baths, loft, living room and kitchen. It is fully furnished. A bedroom with a queen bed and a bath with shower are located on the lower level. On the main level, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and one with twin beds. Nearby is the second bathroom. A loft has two cots and is ideal for teens. The house sleeps six. A small kitchen looks out over the back field. It is fully equipped but does not have a dishwasher.
Nearby towns are Blue Hill, Penobscot, Brooksville, Brooklin and historic Castine. Sedgwick is connected by a bridge to the fishing villages of Deer Isle and Stonington. Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, where there are numerous walking, hiking and biking trails, is one hour away.
The area is a beautiful place to visit in the summer; and in the autumn, the foliage is spectacular. It is dotted with fine restaurants, art galleries and antique shops; and Kneisal Hall, Wooden Boat and Haystack School of Crafts are a short distance away.
Whether you enjoy the classics or nature, you'll find this region delightful and the house well supplied, clean and a wonderful place to relax.
