A modern log cabin on the mountain only 10 minutes from town! Central AC & heat. Large open floor plan allows you to visit with guests while cooking in the kitchen. Carport, one-story with front covered deck to watch the sunrise with coffee! Watch the wildlife including deer, elk, birds and wild turkeys in the area! Back deck has string lights, large outdoor hot tub and large fenced-in yard ideal for pets (please give breed, age & weight and read House Rules). Wood-burning Fireplace!

The space
Real log cabin! Updated kitchen with modern appliances and granite counters...large granite breakfast bar and all the comforts of home! All new smart TVs! This cabin has 1 king with on-suite bathroom, 2 queens and a twin bunk bed set / 3 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms. The log cabin sits on a nicely wooded lot located on the mountain, so it’s protected from any flooding but only a 10 minute drive to town! The large fenced in yard is perfect for your pets to roam around freely and enjoy mountain living with the family! Be sure to provide breed, age and weight of each pet and read the House Rules regarding pet fees that will be collected separately through Airbnb request shortly prior to arrival.

Guest has access to entire property and outdoor space. Backyard is fenced in. Large private hot tub on premises! Great area to take walks and enjoy nature!

Other things to note
Please note that we are taking extra steps and following the CDC guidelines for additional cleaning and disinfecting between each guest. We also check the yard to make sure it’s clean and safe for children and pets! This is a dog friendly cabin. Pet fees are not included in the price and will be collected separately through Airbnb request shortly before your arrival (refer to House Rules). Please provide breed, age and weight of each pet when booking.

Neighborhood highlights

Very peaceful neighborhood with lots of wildlife in the area! Deer are frequently seen near the cabin. In season you will see hummingbirds, blue jays, wood peckers and other birds. Bald eagles have been spotted at nearby lakes too! Ruidoso is an amazing place to be with something for everyone. We have golf, horseback riding, casinos, shopping, restaurants, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, sight seeing, skiing in winter etc!
