Our cottage is located on a private estate with over 120 acres of land on the West coast of Ireland. It is 100 metres from Lough Conn with views of Nephin Mountain. The house was rebuilt ten years ago and is in perfect condition.

The space
The Boathouse has been fully reconstructed and
re-equipped, close to the shoreline. In this
area there is an abundance of wildlife … ducks, swans (with signets),
foxes, badgers, pheasants, mink, snipe, woodcock and many water birds.
It is an area of “Special Conservation” … heavy interference with the
undergrowth and natural habitat is deeply discouraged. Hence you will
find the areas immediately outside the post and rail fencing are quite
primitive and natural, and a lake shoreline. There is a beautiful elevated
copse beyond the house which is a most pleasant area.

Free timber fuel and two bicycles for free use are provided in the small wooden chalet at the far gable of the house.

A small breakfast presentation of foods will be available at the house on your arrival, complimentary of your hosts.

We provide our guests with free range organic eggs from our own farm, loaf of bread, tea, coffee, milk & butter.
