Fire pit, horseshoe pits, coffee percolator, toaster, secure wireless internet, smart TV, DVD player, walking distance to diner and Fonthill. Minutes to town center. The space
Close to Doylestown Airport, Doylestown Hospital. Walking distance to Fonthill museum and shopping. Located in Historic Doylestown Borough, this is a small house with a large yard. This house is not in the historic section of the borough. Therefore, there is private, off-street parking for 3 cars. EZ-Breathe ventilation system. Beautiful summer gardens.

Check-in is limited to between 3 - 9 PM. Please let us know the expected time of arrival so that we may greet you for entry. Due to high demand, we can only consider requests that work well with our check in time frame.

Stays may be subject to additional cleaning fees depending on condition of home at time of departure.

You are close to everything the borough has to offer, including a mix of business and single family homes. The borough is a busy place and this is an older house on a 2 lane, main road (Rt. 313). The road can be very busy during rush hours and lunch hour. This location also puts you across the street and down 1/2 a block from a small diner and 2 doors down from a spa. If you are sensitive to road noise, this may not be the place for you. Please, do not book with us if the road noise will cause you to give us less than a 5 star rating on your experience.

We are 1/2 block from Fonthill castle and park. Please see our guidebook for their information. They frequently have family oriented events there and you can schedule a tour of the castle before you arrive.

We are minutes from the center of town. Bring your bikes for a quick bike ride into town. There is much to see and do in the town center, so please check the Doylestown Borough website or Doylestown Alive website for a list of scheduled activities.

If you would like to visit one of the fine restaurants in the town center on the weekends, you will need to reserve ahead of time. Most of these places have limited seating and are very popular. For a more informal meal, see our guide book or visit one of the 3 large shopping centers nearby.

the County Theater is another popular destination. It is known for its independent films and iconic building.

As an older home, the bedrooms and bathroom are a modest size. The occupancy limit of 4 is intended for families with children. For a party of all adults, we suggest a limit of 3.

You have an entire home to yourself with a fully equipped kitchen.

There is 40" smart TV, DVD player and some DVDs. The master bedroom has a second TV with internet access.

Great outdoor space with fire pit, patio set, horseshoes, etc. Wood is available for the fire pit. Let us know if plan to use the fire pit so that we make sure there is sufficient wood and a bucket of water. Please note that there are no lights in back yard. if you want to use the fire pit, you will need to start the fire during daylight hours.

There is lots to do in the area from canoeing, boating, hiking, touring, etc. Lots of family activities in the area also. Please see our guide for suggestions.

Where you’ll be

Doylestown, Pennsylvania, United States

The "heart" of Doylestown Borough has limited, metered street parking. There is a county parking garage accessible from Broad St and/or Main St, but you will need to walk a few blocks or wait for the shuttle. There are very nice places to eat there, but they are small and usually booked or very busy on the weekends. Weekday or daytime (before 6 PM), in general, is a good time to visit and pop into a local eatery with a good chance of getting immediate seating and maybe even on street parking. Walking around town and stopping in the small shops is something us locals love to do. The Bagel Barrel is very popular for morning coffee or lunch time sandwiches on a bagel. the bagels are made on site and are wonderfully fresh.

Doylestown is a very family oriented place. On any given weekend, there is likely to be some type of event in the town center or nearby. There is even a Santa in the Christmas season. You can check the Borough website under visitors and events.

Doylestown Borough has been named as the third best place in America to live by Leaf Filter North, Inc. "Doylestown is in a great location if you prefer to live in a smaller community while still living close to a big city like Philadelphia. It’s considered a borough, but don’t let that fool you. The area offers great shopping and dining, and a family-friendly atmosphere. As an added bonus, take the extremely affordable SEPTA Regional Rail from Doylestown to connect to practically anywhere in the Philadelphia area."

My partner, Bob, and I have been landlords for over 30 years. In 2008, we started to convert our rentals into corporate rentals. Currently, we specialize exclusively in corporate rentals. I am retired from a long career in Information Technology and Bob is retired from an equally long career at Verizon.

We are ideally designed for business travelers. We have a keen appreciation for hosting our fellow senior citizens. We offer quality accommodations to quality guests.

We provide a high level of service to all of our units. Our units are clean and comfortable. We make great sacrifices to provide clean, comfortable accommodations on your behalf.

Unless you let us know of any issues during your stay, we expect a five star review. Due to the number of accommodations, our policy of personal greetings, and high demand, we have limited time frames for checking in. If our check in requirements do not work for you, we may not be the right choice.

Airbnb has hefty guest fees from which we do not profit. Also, PA state and county taxes will be added to your total. After all of that, If you do not see the value of our accommodations, we may not be the right choice for you.

If you would like to extend your stay with us, please use the airbnb reservation "change" feature to modify the departure date and create the request. We will follow up with a quick response.

We consider stays longer than the maximum length of stay on an individual basis.
