Right in the center of Santa Clara, we offer you a beautiful terrace from which you will not want to leave but to go down to the Cafe that we have prepared for locals and tourists right in the front, or to our Cuban design store, inside the café.

Yes, we have everything for you to remember this as the most special place you visited in Cuba.

We offer you 8 spacious and very clean rooms, a team available 24 hours a day and, as in very few places in Cuba, free wifi.

The space
This is a different Airbnb, an Airbnb in which three local initiatives come together to offer you a truly unique experience in the center of Cuba:

Hostal Amalia, Amarillo Café and Lil Art & Design (a hostel, a cafe, and a Cuban craft and design store).

The rooms are located on the second floor of a building, the shop and the cafe on the first floor of the building just in front.

OUR ROOMS

We have prepared eight (8) rooms for you. Each room is different but they are all beautiful, spacious and comfortable.

And yes, all rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and natural light.

Your room is 16 square meters, equipped with everything you will need, but keeping simplicity and order.

THE CAFE

Is precisely here where we will welcome you, Amarillo B&B is the Cafe we have prepared for guests and locals to come together.

All our guests will receive here a complimentary drink and will be offered a map with the most interesting places in the city.

You can choose to have breakfast on the terrace or have breakfast in the cafe, you will not regret doing it in either of them.

THE STORE

Lil Art & Design is a store where renowned Cuban brands and others of modest recognition converge to offer tourists and locals their designs.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HYGIENE!

The spaces are cleaned every day and clean sheets and towels, soap and toilet paper are provided to all rooms upon prior request of the guest.

LOCATION

We are located right in the center of Santa Clara, just 100 meters from Parque Vidal and less than 50 meters from the Boulevard or pedestrian street: the commercial center of the city.

From our location you can walk to all the monuments related to Che Guevara.

All restaurants, bars and cultural venues are in the surrounding area.

We invite you to check our GUIDE at the end of the ad, so that you know exactly what to do in Santa Clara and get some useful tips for your trip.

THERE IS WIFI?

Yes, there is wifi on the terrace and free wifi in the cafe.

SERVICES

Here we describe the services most requested by guests, and some more, but if you wish to request a special service, do not hesitate to let us know.

Breakfast: We offer breakfast service on the terrace with extra charge.
You can also choose to have breakfast at the Cafe starting at 8:00 am. In any case, let us know in advance please.

Dinner: We also serve our dinners on the terrace, starting at 6 in the afternoon, always with prior coordination with the service staff and with a varied Creole menu.

Cocktails: We invite you to ask our boys for the Cuban cocktails of your choice.

Home massages: Osdany, the best professional in the city, can come to your room and offers you more than 7 types of massage that will pamper your body and spirit so that you can continue your trip to Cuba relaxed and full of good vibes / check his menu upon arrival.

Private Taxis and Taxis Colectivos: we are in contact with the most reliable taxi agency in Santa Clara, so we can manage your transfer to the next city without any problem.

Around here there are two types of taxis: private taxis, and Taxis Colectivos. Private taxis are those that you rent for your use and that of your companions / exclusively.

Taxis colectivos are taxis that are shared with other passengers to lower costs and only work in the morning, they pick you up between 8:30 and 9:30 am. The main destinations of these taxis are: Cayo Santa María, Trinidad, Havana, Varadero and Matanzas.

THIS OPTION OF TAXIS COLECTIVOS DOES NOT EXIST FOR THE DESTINATIONS MORÓN, CAYO COCO, CAYO GUILLERMO, VIÑALES AND EASTERN PROVINCES.

Both taxis take you from house to house so they are very advantageous options to avoid wasting time during your holidays.

You can check the taxis colectivos options for your transfer with the guys of our team upon arrival.

We also organize pick-ups from other private homes or hotels in other provinces in private taxis.

If you arrive very late, you can request me to send a taxi driver of my confidence to pick you up at the Viazul bus station.

Excursion to Cayo Santa María: if the reason that brings you to Santa Clara is the proximity to the beautiful beaches of Cayo Santa María, we will not disappoint you. In collaboration with the local taxi colectivo agencies, we arrange your excursion to these wonderful beaches near Santa Clara, so that you have your day at the beach even in a city without a coast / 35 USD per person.

Airport pickup: whether you arrive through the Abel Santamaría International Airport in Santa Clara, or if you arrive through the José Martí International Airport in Havana, if you chose our house as the first destination of your trip, we will send you a taxi driver we trust to Pick you up / Santa Clara Airport-30 USD, Havana Airport-180 USD.

Dance Lessons: our colleague María Carla, from Hostal Doña Natalia, a professional dancer of the Baila Cuba Company, offers dance classes in her patio for the guests of the hostels of the FullGao network, of which we are part. If you want to take these classes let us know in advance / USD 17 per person or USD 30 per couple.

Spanish classes: our colleague Nayla, a Spanish teacher at UCLV, offers intensive Spanish language sessions to those who wish to communicate in our language / 15 USD per person per day.

Afro-Cuban Religion Tour: Omar, a knowledgeable journalist, santero, and part of the Amarillo B&B (cafe) team, offers this experience literally full of magic, for those who want to know something surprising about Cuban culture to which very few have access / 40 USD per person, 70 USD per couple (transportation, food and cocktails are included in this price)

Tour “Santa Clara is for locals, but loves tourists”: A super immersive 6 hour tour where you will learn about Cuban history, politics, and entrepreneurship in Cuba. Led by Emilio, a young engineer with a passion for history, who helps you understand and get closer to our reality / 40 USD per person, 70 USD per couple (transportation, lunch and cocktails are included in this price)

COMMON AREAS

All common areas are arranged according to your visit: The house has 3 small rooms where you can hang out while you rest or wait for a taxi. But the jewel in the crown is our terrace, located on the third level, where you can take in the fresh air while enjoying a good book or a good conversation.

Service areas that you do not have access to are duly signposted.

Other things to note
I think it is important to alert you about the monetary situation in Cuba at this time.

At the moment here we have two currencies: CUC and CUP.

Recently our government decided to dollarize the country, and neither of them has any real value.

We encourage our guests to change the minimum amount possible to local currency, since both in our establishment and in most establishments in Cuba, it is the dollar and the euro, the currency preferred by business owners, and the best way to customers to avoid inflation.

Location

Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba

You will be precisely in the center of Santa Clara, a city designed for locals, but that really adores visitors.

Santa Clara is the ideal place to learn about the history of the Cuban Revolution in the western part of Cuba. It is called the city of Che Guevara, because it was here that Che led the decisive battle that led to the triumph of the Revolution.
Here you will be within walking distance of all these sites of historical interest.

But Santa Clara is more than the story of Che Guevara: it is a city with a vibrant cultural life that takes place around the Marta Abreu de Las Villas Central University.

Live avant-garde Cuban music, theater shows, drag-queens shows, bars and cafes for university students ... all in a single center: Leoncio Vidal Park, just 100 meters from your location

Santa Clara has that calm typical of the inland towns that you are going to need after your visit to turbulent Havana, but calm is not synonymous with boredom: you are going to adore this city.
