The space
Lakefront Landing is your private entrance 1,000+ sqft Mother-in-Law guest suite. Complete with an equipped kitchenette & dining area, master bedroom (queen & twin bed), and two other common rooms which sleep four more in real beds (full & 2 twins). This is great for the larger traveling group or good for just a couple. Come and go as you please.

We provide Coffee & Tea, cereal & milk, and juice for your FIRST day of reservation. A Pak 'n' Play crib available as well for fee. Please reserve ahead.

The kitchenette does NOT have a cooktop stove. It does offer a microwave, toaster oven, electric fry pan, electric tea pot, crock pot, & waffle press.

The lakefront property is located in the heart of Alaska's scenic Mat-Su Valley, 1 mile off the Parks Hwy. Enjoy the property by taking a paddle boat ride around the lake, followed by outdoor cooking in the picnic area and an evening campfire. The scenery cannot be more beautiful! We have firewood for sale on-site (see last photo on photo section.) There is also a charcoal grill and cast iron cookware. We do NOT provide charcoal.

The owners have lived in Alaska for more than 40 years, teaching public school in Alaska's rural communities. The owners live on the property as well, and try to greet every guest, no matter what time you arrive.

Where you’ll be

Wasilla, Alaska, United States

We are in a quiet neighborhood on a small private float plane lake, where moose wander through frequently, yet we are only 3 miles from grocery stores and restaurants.

We have lived in Alaska for over 30 years and have enjoyed our careers as public school teachers in rural communities of western Alaska. We are now retired and can spend more time on new interests in aviation, flight instruction, and entertaining, as well as old interests in X-Country skiing, hunting, and fishing.

We look forward to meeting new people from all over the world as they travel to Alaska.
