About this listing
The San Juan Chalet upper room is a very large king room with your own balcony and amazing views. This room has a king bed, private bath with granite counters, a full size leather couch, new flat screen TV, a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. Satellite TV and high speed WIFI.
New carpet and drapes were added May 2012!
This room is more like a hotel than a typical airbnb. You do not share the owners quarters.
We do need to collect taxes upon arrival.
we are pretty easy going. no crazy behavior please!
$9 hotsprings passes are available now during summer months.
You must pay appropriate taxes at check in. As airbnb does not have a place to collect them. 7.9% and $3 per night Ouray LOT tax.
extra fee for pets
The room was perfect for a quaint weekend for 2. The bed was incredibly comfy and the location was just a block from the main street of restaurants and shops. Would definitely come back this summer!
Nice apartment. Big windows and 2 block from main street. There is some noise below but it's not too bad. Would be happy to stay there again.
We chose this room because of the great reviews left for it. While it was a nice room, lots of space and a comfortable bed, there were a few things wrong, including that the walls were paper thin. We did not feel we got a good value for our money.
Excellent. The room was clean, ready and waiting for us when we arrived. we loved having our own entrance and being walking distance from everything!
Easy check in. Cute little place. Great location and good price for Ouray. Only suggestion is some kind of blinds as the light is intense in the morning.
The San Juan Chalet Upper King room is great space. It is a great location, it is close to everything, it's quiet... We couldn't have asked for a nicer spot to rest and enjoy Ouray for a couple of days. Thanks!

My family and I live in Ouray full time since 2001. We owned and operated San Juan Mountain Guides for 10 years. So we can answer almost anything San Juans related. We have ran San Juan Chalet since 2005. We love to play outside! Ski, climb, hike, run, bike...
