Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as they need me to.
This apartment is located directly across from the new London Overground Station Dalston Junction, and a short walk from Dalston Kingsland. Getting around is a breeze. There is paid parking available and multiple buses for an easy commute.
I ask that you treat the apartment with respect and enjoy your stay as you make yourself at home. Please refrain from smoking inside the apartment. The flat is cleaned before the arrival of each guest and should be left in an acceptable condition without any damages. I expect that guests to be considerate of their neighbours for the duration of their stay.
Easy to arrange all, great location, cosy small appartment, very clean. Internet works well. Very small bathroom if more than 2 in the appartment. I would certainly recommend it.
I stayed at April's apartment for a month while on business. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured.
I spend quite a bit of time in London but this was the first time that I stayed in this area. I really liked the location. The train stations and airports are easily accessible via the Dalston Junction overground station that is right across the street. On a few mornings, I needed to start out before the trains were running and had good service from the mini-cab company right next door.
I enjoyed the neighborhood. Many great food options....I could have stayed another month and not tried them all. It was nice being out of the fray of Central London and it was great meeting people in the neighborhood.
April's brother owns the business below the apartment and I was able to use it as a shipping address when I needed to have parcels delivered. I always had great service and everyone was helpful and friendly.
During my stay, April touched base a couple of times via message to make sure everything was ok. Everything was and I would happily recommend this apartment.
Lovely appartment, fresh and with comfortable bed and bed sofa. Close to overground and supermarket. Arrangement of getting keys worked smooth and contact with April was easy via airbnb app.
Never had a chance to meet April, but communication was very good, she answered quickly when we had questions on the apartment. Also we booked spontaneously just a couple of days before our trip and received a confirmation almost immediately. The apartment itself was very clean and perfectly located. There is a Tesco just next doors, and a bunch of cafes and restaurants around. Was very easy with check in - check out. And safe. However, it is not a someone's cosy home, but more a professional holiday apartment, made without a personal touch. Also, as I read too late in the house rules, there was really no soap or toilet paper provided, besides a short leftover of toilet paper, obviously left by a previous guest. The electric air fresheners were on when we arrived, which aroma was a bit annoying and it took some time to bring fresh air into the space. Overall it wad a good experience, with this little remarks which may be are a matter of taste.
April's listing was accurate and exactly as pictured/described. The apartment was exactly what we needed. There is plenty of space (especially for London) and it is located across the street from the overground station and plenty of bus stops within a one-two minute walk.

I am organising an international Supper Club called Savour Jamaica as I am passionate about my country and food. I have lived in England, Jamaica and France but I love living in Brooklyn because the people are friendly and there are countless eateries. I love to cook (you can check out my blog, The Yummy Truth), travel and read memoirs. Other than Jamaican cuisine I have a soft spot for pasta and foie gras, my favourite wine is a German Riesling, so if you need any advice on where to dine in Brooklyn or Manhattan I'd be happy to help.
I have travelled quite extensively and I appreciate that meeting great people, seeing interesting things that you can't find in tourist books and eating great food contributes to a memorable holiday, which I know you can experience while staying at my home.
I believe everything happens for a reason and I look forward to helping you enjoy your stay when you next visit NYC or London or Kingston!
