I'm a dairy farmer, milking about 30 cows. Also some meet production so around 80 cattle in total. In 2016 I started to rebuild the Doctors house and change into apartments for tourists. That house was built in 1944, by the government and designed by the famous architect Mr. Gudjon Samuelsson, the same which designed Hallgrimskirkja and the National theater in Reykajvik. At the farm a doctor for quite big area was placed from 1903 until 1970.

During your stay

We are living in the next house and will usually be there for you, in case you miss or need something. We will welcome you and show you the apartment when you arrive. At 7 to 8.30 in the morning as also from 6 to 7.30 in the afternoon we are milking the cows but you should always be able to reach us by phone.
