Our guest room is a 350-square-foot studio space with a kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping area. A queen bed provides sleeping room for two, and a full-size sofa sleeper could be used by a third person, but keep in mind that space is limited. The guest house is just 3.5 miles from downtown Bigfork.

The space
Situated on an 8-acre wooded parcel, our property offers privacy and a restful retreat. The studio apartment is built into the corner of our garage, separate from the main house. This provides our guests a bit of added privacy. A covered porch with table and chairs provides a beautiful outdoor space for dining or relaxing. Just beyond the porch is a grassy space with a basic fire pit. Roasting sticks are available. It's also a great area for a game of bocce.

The guest room is furnished with bath and bed linens, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. In the kitchen, there is cookware, a coffee pot, microwave, blender, range, and refrigerator. A few items are provided such as coffee, tea, sugar, oil, and spices.

There is no phone in the apartment. There is a flat-screen television with our DVD collection at your disposal. The television is for DVD use only as it does not receive stations consistently. We usually have board games for guests but these will not be available this year due to the difficulty in cleaning them.

Local deer roam our woods and enjoy munching on the ground clover in the yard. Wild turkeys also wander through occasionally. Our friendly dog, Reese, loves company, and is quick to welcome friends who join us. He's protective of his yard so no pets allowed.

We prefer a 3-night minimum reservation. This is a non-smoking space, which includes e-cigarettes. No open flames, candles, or incense allowed.

Our neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. Our road is a dead end so has limited traffic. People can often be seen taking walks or riding bikes. We have woods surrounding us so sometimes there is wildlife in the yard. The deer love to come and eat our flowers. Bigfork and Flathead Lake are just a few minutes away.
