As a result of having this renter, We have spent $410 to clean pet urine throughout the house, $59 to replace a bookcase urinated on by the dog, and $229 to replace a futon urinated on as well. The exterminators Slug a Bug were out to verify today that there are NO problems with bugs as they treated for quarterly service. At check out, this guest left the house smelling of vomit with alcohol , trash and boxes everywhere, on every surface, in drawers and the floor. She dyed her hair and ruined a towel, bowl and stained the tub. She allowed the dog to pee on the floor, on furniture and baseboards and do not clean it up! She had no regard for cleanliness or respect for Air Bnb. The HVAC was serviced April 6 and is working great.
We have enjoyed having this rental for 4 years and have had found the only time we have a problem is when someone doesn’t want to abide by Air Bnb policies for the reservation or with pets. This guest violated the policies, refused to pay for pet services and trashed our home in the most disgusting way we have seen from any renter. It must not have been so bad- she asked to have a late check out on Tuesday despite her allegations. She did not check her messages in the portal prior to check in- she would have seen my response about an early check in not being possible due to a renter staying for 3 months thru Apr.1.
