This is a single occupancy room. Please don't ask to have 2 people :)
This beautiful, casual, historic house is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.

Very nice hosts and great room! Perfect for one person! I loved the home. Very charming!
This is a beautiful house that has been thoughtfully cared for. Every room has a wonderful view. Annemaire, Jesse and Jocelyne were all very kind hosts. I really enjoyed the family style breakfasts and having the opportunity to get to know the hosts and other guests. Felt like home. It was pretty sweet to come back after a foggy day and find the fireplace lit with a warming fire. I stayed here for the better part of a week while working at a college in Monterey and would certainly stay here again on another trip. Highly recommended.
What an amazing experience!
The Historic Landmark House is a cute little house with lots of charm. Very clean with a beautiful garden and above all great hosts!
Annemarie, Jesse and Jocelyne, your recommendations were absolutely great. I also really enjoyed your organic breakfast and the good company in the mornings and I am looking forward to hopefully coming back soon!
Staying with Annemarie, Jesse, and Jocelyne was a delight. They were thoughtful and warm hosts and made me feel right at home. The house is as lovely as the pictures, and the Crow's Nest gets terrific light throughout the day. Plus, breakfast was terrific--both the food and the company. I feel lucky I got to stay with such gracious hosts in such a beautiful home.
I just had a 2 night stay at the historic landmark and it was an adorable house filled with character. The location is very close to Monterey and Carmel. I had a car so found it very easy getting on and off Highway One. I enjoyed my morning coffee chats with them. Jocelyn was so great and we shared some lovely stories. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is looking to visit the area and have a comfortable home to stay at.
I loved my stay in this beautiful home. The hosts were warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to make my vacation stay comfortable. The room was elegant in its simplicity, and was classic California beach bungalow. In the morning I had the pleasure of a quiet meditation in the garden followed by a tasty breakfast offering.
The house location is off the heavy traffic area and just minutes to everything I wanted to see and do. Jesse and Annemarie were very helpful suggesting different hiking and dining options. Their suggestions were spot on and my trip was fantastic.
This was my first experience with airbnb and it couldn't have been more perfect, better thank I imagined. The home is large and absolutely spotless. The hosts were delightful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was more than enough. I loved it!

Jocelyne, originally from France, came to the US in 1958 to raise her family on the Big Sur coast. She and her son Jesse are a great connection to recommend local activities . Annemarie, originally from Canada, married Jesse and is still exploring California herself,
We love to travel, meet new people, taste foods from around the world and explore.
