Welcome to the No. 8 Schoolhouse! This converted school was originally built by artist, Ronald Garrett as an artist retreat. 2024 brought many changes to the Schoolhouse retreat. Owners, Michael and Christina decided the Schoolhouse deserved a revamp. And revamp they did! They remodeled top to bottom while also redesigning to give their guests a funky experience! It's one of a kind. You'll never see another like it!

Retreat to our 1.1 acre of oddities! Nestled in New Wilmington, our property is a destination like no other. Often compared to a vintage roadside attraction, it will mystify your senses. The property is yours to explore!

Our guests are welcome and encouraged to explore every inch of the property. Whether you'd like to check out the September Chapel, the OK Corral, or the Egyptian Pyramid, we have it all!

New Wilmington is an Amish community. Please drive slow and cautious. When passing horse and buggies please be careful.
