The space
Salzburg is one of the largest castle complexes in Germany. A total area of one hectare is surrounded by a circular wall that is over 400 meters long. The ministerials of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg and their families once lived here. They took care of all administrative tasks in Salzgau.
