Why LA MAISON DE FAMILLE? Because our family is a testimony, an endless photo album. A family who arrived at La Ciotat from La Spezia in Italy in the 1920s for the opening of the shipyard. The sixth generation now lives in the family home nearLe Picoussin. Land that the beloved cousin Marius had bought for his Aunt Bernardine, so that she would be next to Aunt Rose. Do you follow? They passed on this love for La Ciotat, our life choice. Today we share it with you in return by welcoming you to our hostages, configured and equipped with comfort and sensitivity. Who manages the FAMILY HOME? Dominique and Camille, mother and daughter, 4th & 5th generation of the family, born here and settled a priori permanently in La Ciotat 10 years ago. We admit a common passion for travel that has rocked our vacations. We've all tested atypical accommodation; caravan in Camargue, unemployment roof in Mauritius, sheepfold in the Cévennes, caravan in Normandy, agriturismo in Italy, lighthouse in Porquerolles, castle in Auvergne, B&B in Brighton... Our family is now scattered around the world, yet a great excuse to travel. Dominique is the owner and architect of all our accommodation sites. She passed on the salt bath culture to us; as a child, she would peel the barnacles off the iodized rock before enjoying them. It is the caganis of her family and beloved daughter of Odette ( La Maison d 'Odette ) Graduated from the Luminy School of Architecture in Marseille, she renovated the old one respecting the original materials with talent. For a few years she has been engaged in social work where part of her time is now dedicated to housing sickness ( FAP ). His specialty? The anchoïade Madness? Swimming all year round Her passion? Yellow, she would put it everywhere Her quirk? Her collection of Vallauris molds Camille is the manager of the different accommodation sites. Graduated from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in 2007, she began a career in luxury hospitality before settling in La Ciotat, her roots, to create rare and solar places. It all started with La Maison d 'Odette in 2013, after her grandmother at heart Odette left in 2012. Her weakness? Pine nut meringue 2021 Resolution? Learn Venetian Their challenge? Exceeding customer expectations Since 2013, one, then several accommodation sites have been born, welcoming all year round , tourists, shipyard workers, watercolours, sailing enthusiasts, divers, students, hikers, all in love with the sea.
