The 300 year old house is located in a village at Lake Skadar, 8 km away from the wellknown village of Rijeka Crnojevica. The last years it got renovated with love and a lot of patience;) The house itself is surrounded by vinyards and meadows.
Overall, the house has 90m ² of living space on three levels. A cozy terrace and barbecue facilities are also at your disposal. The bedroom has a double bed, the living room a sofa bed. The house comfortably offers room for 4-5 people.
The kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. The entire garden area can be used (hammocks, playground, etc..), As well as the fresh vegetables, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, saisonal fruits, etc. from the garden.
The accommodation is suitable for people who would like to meet a country and its traditions off-the-beaten track. The village does not offer shopping facitilites, so please take some provisions with you. We provide you some basic breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, butter, honey, jam, bread, joghurt). The closest grocery stores are located in Podgorica (20 min) or Rijeka crnojevica (15 min). In the fishing villages Karuc (10 min) or Rijeka Crnojevica there are several fish restaurants.
We provide you 2 bicycles (or upon request more), so you can explore the surroundings. If you like to walk, some nice walking trails, eg. to the village of Karuc, start right from the house ( 5km, 1hrs45min). A very special experience is to go out with a local fisherman and bring in the catch of the day. This happens very early in the morning, but is rewarded with an unique experience and a tasty fish breakfast. We are happy to organize this for you.

What an amazing weekend. From the moment we arrived we tried their wine, fruit brandy and honey.......all amazing! Hosts were really kind, generous and welcoming, they gave us a map and picked out a great restaurant and a brilliant hiking trail. The house is heaped with character and the wood burner in the bedroom added the final touch. We will be back in a few months! Thank you
Eine tolle Unterkunft in einer traumhaften Gegend, die keine Wünsche offen lässt.
Wir wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!
This place is a combination of a historic old stone farm building and an modern Austrian mountain chalet, in the hills of Montenegro. Very special. During our stay Angelika hosted a local slow foods dinner which we were very lucky to sit in on. We would definitely have extended our stay if it wasn't for torrential rains, which shut off local power, but otherwise would have loved to stay on the property for a week.
Wow what an amazing place!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Stonehouse and wished we could have stayed for even longer. We really enjoyed being shown all around the home grown vegetable and fruit garden by Angelika's family, who were so generous allowing us to pick our own produce. We also thoroughly enjoyed their homemade wine and honey liquor- really delicious!
The whole place is such a relaxing and homely place to be, and their cats are the sweetest and friendliest too!
The house is also in a great location near to Skadar national park. We were given some very helpful tips for hiking, boating and swimming.
Overall, i highly recommend this place, and we definitely plan to return for another wonderful stay.
This place is amazing. A real treasure. The whole stay was made exceptional by the hospitality of Pavle and his family. We stayed for 3 nights. We had hired a car in Kotor for our stay which has essential for getting around the rugged landscape of the Montenegro. Pavle will let you use his vineyard and vegetable garden to pick anything you want. We made a lovely ratatouille with some of the organic veg. Great food. The house's interior is beautifully finished. A real back to nature stay in such a beautiful country.
Best place we've ever been with Airbnb (in among 12 appartments and houses accross Europe and the US).
Angelika and her father-in-law were really friendly and took a lot of time with us, showing us the place, testing their wine, liquor and honey and chatting.
The house is really beautiful and practical. You have everything you need in there. It was fun to be able to choose our vegetables and fruits in the garden.
The house seems a little bit lost in the middle of nowhere, bu tby car you can easily reach nice fishing villages, small towns, the lovcen national park and the skadar lake. Angelika give you every maps and books you need to plan a lot of activities.
We will defenitely come back, but for a longer time : we were sad to leave it after 3 days. It's the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
We had a fantastic stay in Angelica and Pavle's renovated family home. Steeped in tradition and beautiful countryside, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The accommodation was everything we could have asked for, with everything you need at hand. Rvasi is a very special place and it was an honour to get a short glimpse into the lives of the locals. We went fishing on Lake Skadar and ate the catch for breakfast. We also had the pleasure of drinking Pavle's homemade rakia and eating his honey, grapes from his vineyard, tomatoes from the garden and home grown nuts. An awesome stay with awesome people at hand to help you out and make you feel welcome. We would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful part of the world.
We planned this trip only 2 days in advance and the communication/booking with Angelika was very easy and fast.
Also thanks to her perfect directions, we had no problems finding the house in this pretty part of Montenegro – Lake Skadar. When we arrived, we got to meet Angelika’s family who was really very warm and welcoming. First we got a tour around the garden and vineyard, and then we also got great tips to spend the following days (and where to buy the best fish!) which was just the perfect way to begin our three-day stay there! The house is very nicely renovated and decorated and has just everything you need!
Wonderful family and a wonderful house and garden with fantastic grapes, tomatoes and herbs ... – plus Pavle’s great wine and liquor. Wished we could have stayed here longer and hope to come back again!
A wonderful break from more conventional tourist options. The grounds are beautiful and the location is a great way to explore Skadar Lake and visit nearby wineries. Angelika's family are very welcoming.
Best place in Montenegro, can't recommend it highly enough. We came back for more during the same holiday. We were welcomed like family, incredibly heartwarming and such generosity. We could have easily spend our whole holiday on this farm as quite central to some fantastic sightseeing and swimming. Went with 3 children who thoroughly enjoyed the grapes, tomatoes and honeyed nuts as well as the cats and hammock. A perfect self-catering cottage that has everything you can think of. We had an excellent time cycling around as well, stunning views, some challenging climbs followed by lovely descents. Next time we'll bring mosquito nets as we are obviously a very sweet family. The hosts can help you with transport (bicycles / car hire). We hope to come back to Montenegro and the Jablan family.
