My boyfriend and me stayed one week in Angelo’s home in Quaratica. It's a beautiful little mountain village (about 90 people live there), sleepy and very calm, little-known - I think nobody would get there if not for the village itself (it's at the end of the road), and so Italian. Directly in front of the flat is the "village square" where in the afternoon the inhabitants sit and chat about life. The flat itself had everything we needed (we were only missing a cutting board, and there is no washing mashine, but we didn’t expect or need one), it’s cosy, and thanks to the old quarrystone-house it was always nice and cold inside, even though outside the sun was burning down. There is wifi in the house, but it doesn’t really work, since Quaratica itself doesn’t have the best internet connection, but honestly – when there is such nice nature outside, who needs internet? We didn’t miss it. There is a hikingcard in the house, very detailed, more you wouldn’t need. Quaratica is so small, there is no shop or bar or anything, but we did buy some honey right from Quaratica! San Benedetto or even Rico de Golfo are really close by, you can reach both by car or bike, San Benedetto even by foot, and there are trattorias, shops, bars, gas-stations and more. We came to Cinque Terre to hike and bike, first we thought Quaratica is not well located for this, but it was perfect. You can start your hike right from the doorstep, as well as beautifull bike-tours. If you come by car, you can reach all the famous villages around. But it was so much calmer and nicer to life than in those five towns by the shore. We packed our bikes in the car and always parked a few kilometers before Monterosso, Riomaggiore, Portovenere (…), and then went down by bike – thus we saved all costs for parking lots. Thanks to Angelo for the nice stay, we had a blast!

The pictures do not match the actual accomodation which is smaller and darker than shown. The wifi does not work. We were here for 4 days and never got a connection even though we were told to put the wifi hub out the window to get better reception. The shower was very small. The bed was very comfortable and we always had a good nights sleep as it is very quiet. Location is great for accessibility to Cinque Terre. It is only a 15 minute drive to La Spezia which is a great start off point for the 5 towns. If you dont have a car this is not the place to stay.

Apartment is located in a small and quiet village almost at the top of the hill and it's nice and well equipped, with only 10minutes to the centre of La Spezia by car it's ideal place to rest after trips and hikes. Angelo and Chiara were available for questions and reacted promptly if needed. We have enjoyed the stay and felt like at our own home, recommended!

If you want to have a few real Italian days you should totally visit Angelos listing. It felt like the whole village was waiting for our arrival. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The village is also a good starting point for a trip to Cinque Terre

We spent 4 nights in Angelo and Chiara's apartment: no other word than perfect! Lovely location with nice people, clean and well equipped apartment; I would definitely book again there if I come back to Cinque Terre. Thank you very much for this experience.

Perfect. We have a great time in the apartment and the process of booking was easy. The hosts keep in touch with me the hole time so you can ask everything. I think all this good feedback is absolutely right, I would trust this two hosts definitely another time.
